I appreciated the interview on BATGAP with Darryl Anka (Bashar) and felt to add this comment to its forum page.

I feel to put in a positive appreciation for the Bashar material - allowing that ANY information only 'lives' as the intuited or uncovered knowing that you already ARE - but hitherto failed to recognize or appreciate.
However if there is a resonance, one opens to what one is currently capable of integrating by acting from it, and as a result even the same information can yield greater directness of recognition.

I had opening experience without overt or cultural supports for it and sort of came in the back door. No matter what one experiences, it isn't your own until you can live it, release it, forget about it, because now it is you and there is nothing to carry around or fear to lose or work to improve upon - though the improving of one's current experience remains a freedom of perspective as long as there is experience reflecting what Bashar calls a created reality.

Life brought me tools and paths of integration in ways I did not expect and obliged me to release my persona preferences so as to not shut down or turn away from the core vibrations of a living reality that had interfered with the dream of a life that ran before. Life still does!

Invisible companioning is a term I coined from A Course in Miracles and it doesn't need to matter what - if any - names are applied to whatever facets of an integrated wholeness of being communicate, guide, support and in a sense live or move through me - its is all Life and it is that which supports the particular expression of life that is my own focus or lifetime experience in its integrative process of remembering and recognizing itself.

The Bashar material is different in form in many respects but also in flavour. At earlier times of my life subtle 'spiritual' pride would likely have dismissed a generally LOUD and strangely intoned and enunsssssiated delivery that itself expresses multiple facets of the persona. Now I feel it no accident - but a specific design that speaks at various levels and in ways that deflect that which doesn't belong.
What belongs is a willingness to be open to the information without a lot of filtering and distorting crap and perhaps insofar as there is a layer of that it is invited into the discussion as content to be observed.

Resonance and relevance to the Living energetic of being is not a judgment involving comparisons and rejections - but a direct recognition or knowing.
This knowing is not ambiguous or indeterminate or conditional - but is a facet of the energetic presence of Life/Existence Itself - but its bread-crumb trail may be scattered across any number of various prompts, events, teachings, visions, insights -all of which embody facets of One relationship through which all relations are restored.

Ok... so I am not getting to my point that way...
As well as being a teaching vehicle or 'permission slip' for awakening/restoration to the One yiu have never stopped being, Bashar's perspective/toolset open all the awakening inspirational teachings that I most deeply value as pure tones in their own vibratory signature to a clearer and more ordinary light.

There is something about the religious/Spiritual cultural inheritance that  so deeply associates Divinity, God, Perfect Innocence, Unconditional Love with something NOT ordinary I as this ordinary moment of expression - regardless of opening to such grace in various moments that clearly were not about special deservability but do contain an inhibition of the impulse to recoil or reject from what fear makes of love - for in love itself is NO rejection.

Bashar extends the appreciation of an unconditionally loving existence without recourse to sentimentality or persuasion, for it is already true to the willingness to welcome and extend the Gift.

Truth often comes in forms I tend to deny because it comes to undo my own self-rejections that have projected a sense of disconnected self in fragments that can never fit because in their true Source they already fit perfectly.

This brings another facet: Bashar relates without pride of persona and extends an equality of communication that exemplifies what he calls 'ego negotiation'. In Bashar's terms the ego in its original function is simply that which serves you to maintain a focus in physical realty experience. a negatively polarized ego is what we associate with the ego of coercive and divisive or segregative and separating intent. Bring the lost sheep home is a phrase that comes to mind - although first contact specialist is also a good term within the symbolism of an era in which we are not just looking at space and stars, but beginning to interact and open communications of a higher/more inclusive order.

I found all sorts of Bashar online in various ways and also bought some directly from Daryl. There is a donate button to honour the source if others for whatever reason choose to share things on.

I don't ever feel to follow or give power to anything external. Be where you are in your own owning of the movement you feel. I actually feel this confers a true honoring and a true gift of presence - without justification or apology. Oh - and forgetting. Yes, there is that. But we are already experts at that so I didn't need to focus there.

A better world is available… right now

I believe a better world is available right now because I see that the world I meet, experience and share is one of definitions and perspectives. Whatever 'the world' IS can only be experienced through the meanings that our definitions and feelings construct.

So I change my mind about my mind - and it becomes a receptor of a conscious focus rather than a program of conditioned reactions.

The former is naturally extending the voluntary or positively self-integrating movement of life as a unique individual expression within collective agreements. This actually FEELS and shares a tangible communioned connection with Life - regardless if it is articulated in concept or paint or dance or whatever.

The latter operates as a negatively defined - that is a segregating and separating - sense of self that is inherently disconnecting from the Feeling dimension of Consciousness Communion. Materialism is the outcome of 'separating from Consciousness' and gave rise to the perception-experience of a world of disconnected thoughts, objects, states and actions - that a sort of disembodied mind then defines so as to validate and protect itself AS A SEPARATE or private agenda.

I say disembodied, because anyone who truly embodies Life know the Presence of Life and the qualities innate and inherent to Life. It may be associated with a body - but as a separator, or mask, or weapon… and as a dumping ground for unprocessed negativity… to be used up and discarded.

Merely rational communications do not tend to initiate change - for that kind of rationality is of the minds attempt to justify its already asserted act or position. Corporate interests and politicians know that and have increasing abandoned even a pretence of rationality. They merely practice the 'dark' arts of persuasion by fair means or foul. Using symbols that bypass the rational superficiality to trigger subconscious frameworks in which people generally follow predictive patterns.

But all coercion has a comeback and any apparent power becomes a weak or ineffective 'drug' after being overused - and will then work against the one who thinks to wield it.

Ingenuity runs out of room to reinvent or disguise itself - then it turns to sacrifice of whatever it has to pay in order to keep a seed for re-propagation in a new host.

I feel that if humanity is to wake up from a death-spiral it will be through the witnessing of a self-honesty, and of a willingness to enquire of and challenge every belief that we have lived by that brought us to such a pass. One of the reasons good and workable political ideas fail or fall prey to corruption is that of our very low level of consciousness responsibility. A combination of ignorance and arrogance.

Inspiration may use seemingly irrational channels - but always growing and sharing a sense of worth. Without a true foundation a house divided cannot stand - and one can cover over a true foundation yet it will insinuate itself into such a coercive attempt to replace it no matter what. Each of us can wake from ignorance and arrogance so as to serve a greater awakening than the tiny self such negativity allows. It cannot be 'organized' or conceptualized into systems that replace our relational honesty with rules for thought or behaviour.

But unless one can meet the 'power' of the deceptions of our day and abide clear in the value one has directly uncovered in one's own honesty of transparency - one will be subverted, compromised, co-opted, by fair means or foul.

Yet notice these devices and own what is ours - and they become the very pathways of undoing and disassociation within one's own consciousness. Then one is no longer triggered as one was before and has 'reclaimed ones power' from negatively defined scenarios. One can thus choose freely and creatively in alignment with a clear sense of what you are and what you are not - and others will feel and see you as a more tangible and definite presence.

The latter is the 'truth' that is so weak in the world - and yet is the spark of Life that can grow Cultures. Tangible and Definite Presence.

As it be thy will

One cannot change what one does not first own. This might SEEM to say owning guilt - but guilt is an overlay applied to the dissonance of attempting to be what one is not. So to accept that the loss of peace has occurred enables asking, enquiring, looking and listening anew. Here is the movement of a current focus that is like 'wheels gripping the road', rather than a loss of power and control in a 'skid' of disconnected feelings and apparent meanings or self-judgments.

If one operates under ideas of what one is 'supposed to be or do or not be or not do', then one is conditioned to attempt to be less than you are and indeed to become what you are not.

Releasing the 'should' of guilt' in oneself is the same as releasing it of another. There is no difference. Whatever one's brother does or says is his or her freedom to choose to experience and yet can be related to from a true or whole and unconflicted perspective, or from judgements that say more about one's own conditioning than about the other. One is not in a position to judge another and truly one is not in a position to judge one's self.

Giving true witness reflects the focus of a true appreciation or enquiry. How that manifests is secondary to that your presence is extended as an expression of a unified will - and not as a projection of the idea of a separate one seeking to put Humpty together again.

To reject any part of ourself is to un-own our Self - to make an 'un-known' of `self and  identify within the act of rejection or judgement and thus protect it against truly knowing anything. Thus one 'operates' within a 'world' of beliefs in a war of powers in which opposition and resistance to a true will seem meaningful, desirable power of protection or influence, and powerful in an of themselves.

A willingness to release judgement is also the willingness to own one's own fears, thoughts and beliefs that have played their part in generating the experience that seems to have violated or taken away one's peace. It is like putting down a sword of division and yielding to the movement of the hearts' true knowing - also known as honesty and humility in an acknowledgement of a wholeness of which one has forgotten but desires to be restored to.

If we pursue a focus that is NOT extending our true presence, then that will interfere with the awareness of naturally fulfilling our true function - which is not OTHER than BEING OURSELVES.

The qualities innate to being true are all known and shared in peace and joy.

But the gift shares as and to a willingness - free of coercive assertion.

Trying to hide and protect the separation as if it can be a means to safety is exhausting and doesn't work. Owning what is ours as a choice brings it to the light of a true awareness in which what is NOT ours is released, nothinged or clearly seen without confusion, and what is Ours is recognized in its true and Living context. Nothing Real is threatened. But the belief in fear and loss is to be honoured as a choice that one no longer desires to animate or embody or share.

When we seek to kill the messenger, we attack thought - and this is meaningless and absurd. Thoughts that don't belong are like radio stations one is not tuning into. If one is tuning into what one says one does NOT want it is because one DOES want it! - but the underlying beliefs involved are hidden or dis-owned. Being shown the truth of the way we hurt ourself is being given a choice not to do it again - and again. If the hurt were merely taken away, your very foundation of creative being would be taken away with it - and this is also absurd, impossible and a kind of thinking unworthy of your Free and Holy Being. It takes time to release and change habit - but it takes a moments willingness to be renewed in purpose. Being on purpose is inherently connected to, and extending of, Source. 

Conflicted purposes of a divided mind result in a world-experience unlike Source. The guide to getting nowhere yields to the Guide for reintegration and peace.

Bible perspective

That is fantasy... Basically we are energy having a human experience, not the other way around... Before we are born and before we choose to incarnate, only Pure, Positive, love, energy exists... Duality only exists on earth, so we can create and experience for our expansion. We create our own reality, Starts with our thoughts, a thought turns into a belief, than creates our reality... Bottom line here is that we are not victims here... We are here to experience, create and expand.... Expansion happens on a spiritual level...

Why let fear judge what can be left open?

That fear is a distorting filter and block to the appreciation of the true Nature of Existence, can be observed in our own thought - and thus in the world. That fear will misinterpret communications of a loving nature and thus validate and protect the fear rather than dissolve it and open in appreciation, can be observed in our own thought - and thus in the world.

The expansion you speak of is an Embrace - and not a rejection.

When we hide our own self-rejections 'in' others or on the world, we persist in self-hate while 'feeling better about ourselves'.

YOUR current perspective may serve to bring YOU step by step to a greater alignment with an honesty of being that doesn't need to hide from nor reject anything - and so is free to choose what it prefers. Why not give others the FREEDOM to discover for themselves as you clearly enjoy?

The key ingredient in ANY teaching device or book or movement is YOU. Your purpose or motive is what brings your result. Without a clear and honest motive you will have different results.

The need to know is very different from a surface curiosity. The thirst for truth can overlook all that doesn't resonate or serve and tune in clearly to what does. If a stepping stone had a very uneven surface excepting one foot sized level flatness, it might from many angles look to be NOT a stepping stone and all the irregularities can be focussed upon to reinforce the perception-belief.

But to one who NEEDS to cross from an uncovered pain of conflicted separation that can no longer be disguised - their foot finds the place even without stopping to look. Perhaps from the 'other side' the flat area is not only clearly seen but actually much larger. Perhaps it is anywhere on the apparently un-supporting rock that one gives one's faith in action to.

Beware of using the revelation of One Light to make teachings that deny active hidden fears in our mind - for they 'work against' your shared joy in life as it is being lived. Peter denied his fears because he loved Jesus - but Jesus saw this and let the Father's love for Peter reveal Itself in Peter such that the crowing of the cock does not bring the dawning of a true self-love. But NOTICING the crowing of the cock and waking up from the spell of a self-vanity DOES.

In willingness to join with you - more has been shown me than I was aware of before. I am truly grateful to the Life that lives us All.

Bible, Authority and nonsense

I wrote this replying to a comment to me that had no substance. Not so much for jfelfin - who clearly is not open to communication, but to others reading the page it was on :

The mind of judgement gives rise to the world seen through the lens of fear. The Bible can open this observation to a willingness to listen.

Another Idea of the Bible, is the Holy Spirit, as that discernment through which truth is illuminated, recognised, lived and shared.

Indeed the Idea of the Holy Spirit is That Mind which was in Christ Jesus - for to such a clear appreciation EVERYTHING and EVERYONE becomes a clear communication of One Truth.

Another way to say this is; "Listen in the Heart". When I read you, I let you in - for I have nothing to defend and a willingness to learn.

Having let you in I do not pigeon-hole you into what or who you are 'like' but become altogether present with the communication that shares You - regardless of the presentation and packaging. All of the forms fall away and there is a moment of recognition - within myself, and I have cause to be grateful for a part of me that reintegrates, rather than be separated out by judgement and self-rejection - and projected out onto a world of 'others'.

I feel to celebrate that when people need inspiration, clarity, or a greater perspective upon their life, they are guided and find  - or are found - by something that works for them in that moment or time of their life. By our self we are nothing - and when we drift into fearing or believing we are 'all by ourself alone' we are so trapped in our own (self) judgment that we have no perspective upon what our own mind is making of itself.

New age thought has all the ingredients of any movement. But pause a while and see if at the root a new age is not what the Bible prophesies. 

When you attack instead of communicate - you  associate your cause with weakness and lack of substance. Look at all communications to see what remains when you ignore the attacks - and blatant or coded insinuations. My feeling is that when the form of something inspirational is used for purpose of attack, it is devalued and degraded by such usage.

Your true Authority comes from an intimate relation with your Author - and not with external agencies, books or teachers intent on facilitating that Intimacy. Be yourself, honestly, unmasked and without apology or pretence. What then comes through you will speak of Humanity as it will of God - regardless whether the term 'God' is in one's usage as a pointer to the Consciousness the Bible refers to as "I Am That I Am".

Unless our motive is pure or single, we will make nonsense of everything - including the Bible. This is all a matter of self-honesty. The mind that knows not what it does is a mind in hiding from itself.

Jesus - while being killed by such mentality - said, "forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do". He let Source Consciousness Show him what is really going on when the human mind sees division, conflict, hate and death. 

In our world we have every temptation to become embroiled and entangled in division, conflict, hate and death - and to act out the roles of the ancient ritual by which God is killed that Man may live… alone and apart, as if a power unto himself in a world to seek to prevail over as  if a god.

I write this because there is a willingness in every heart to be uncovered - and because extending the fruits of my willingness is an invitation for others to find their own - and in their own way.

the Second Coming - like the Bridegroom in the Bible - "cometh when ye thinketh NOT!". This is not saying only that it is not anything your current thinking EXPECTS - but that it comes into Its Own as you lay down YOUR thinking and abide in the Movement of Life that is already Moving but otherwise un recognized to a mind-in-hiding. Jesus called it "The Father's Will" - and claimed NO powers for himself alone - for what was revealed to him is true of all.

I am grateful for your expression of freedom. Freedom is the Signature of God in our heart. No matter WHAT we use it FOR - it remains forever freely Given us to share - for that IS our Creation in the Image of our Source or Father… not the physical birth.

Propaganda begins at home

Fear inducing loops serve no purpose but to assert the reality of fear – as a foundation – as truth – as a basis from which to leverage outcome; to manipulate reality.

Every idea accepted into our mind as emotional belief – that is; identified with – also identifies us in our current choice. This identity construct then seeks and finds reinforcement by amplifying its reflections in all its choices, which in turn communicates that choice as a manifestation of idea.

The idea of fearful self in a hostile Universe is propaganda in support of a self-separation in a Universe of separation – justified in hate and in defence and opposition to anything that might undermine its power; the power of a lie, given truth.

The reflections of such intent to prevail over, predate upon, and deny, are the experience of the threat and interpretive experience of being victimized, abused and denied. And the guilt, hatred and worthlessness that arise in the self-knowledge of a persistence of denying truth, love and life, split the mind and are projected out upon truth love and life such as to render it unrecognisable as your Self in the sharing that IS truth, love and life.

The conflict of shadow selves perpetuates distraction and densifies and intensifies dissonance, such that light of truth that loves your whole life cannot find welcome, nor shine its unifying, healing and integrative perspective on what is first and foremost a decision to experience in a particular way, with chosen idea, but which has become a highly complex multi-layered defence against communication itself.

Yet the upholding of an idea that is not aligned and expressive of the truth of you, will necessarily be unstable, require an intense tax of energy and attention in maintaining – leading to disintegration and depletion. Though these experiences also are woven into the conditioning such as to further adjust the self-construct to its split ‘world’, the tolerance for such pain, futility and isolation is not infinite, and the mind that plays in its drama is brought to a choice of re-evaluating itself.

This is the ripeness and opportunity of re-wakening, of being corrected of the errors of thought whereby the self – and its world became negatively defined.
This is the process through time in which a clear and unified foundation is accepted true – and lived from, such as to transform the self-construct from the idea of victim/victimizer to the idea of creative unifier. Ideas that are innate to our nature do not require overhead or effort to be true – but can be rested in whole. But while the investment in a self in a world of ‘divide and rule’ is treasured and defended, the truly natural – insofar as one begins to recognize it – is associated with fear, guilt and resistance.

Whereas the trip into the idea of fear and separation experience was actually fearless and guiltless – because it was yet aware of its indivisibility, the resultant perspective was a chaos of reaction in which a temporary stability was achieved but from a shifting basis in a shifting world.

But the dawning upon the mind of its true predicament is one which is uncovering the guilt and fear patterns that had worked in the darkness of secrecy and unconsciousness. In this is the temptation to persist in self-judgement from the false lens of fear’s distortion.

But the desire for the peace in which a true perspective dawns spontaneously – free of any kind of mental-emotional propaganda, cannot be denied your willingness – whatever conditions seem to prevail.

The putting out of self-unworthiness onto others serves as justifiction for a point of self-righteousness from which to judge, manipulate and control your mind, and to assert a coercive intent that you be made happy by others conforming to your demand.

But that putting out of self does not leave your mind and is not ‘out there’ independent of you. To reclaim the power of wholeness, use the projections to illuminate one’s OWN mind. Not to fuel or feed guilt, but in the willingness of the honesty of the desire for peace in which one knows a shared existence without any question of propaganda. because this knowing is not a coercive intent to ‘understand’ in order to control – but is a yielding into All That Is – free of attempt to possess or define it negatively or positively in reaction.
Life knows how to be itself. Truth knows how to discern itself. Love knows how to share itself.

The focus upon the deception in purely ‘out there’ terms is itself deceived.
One has to subscribe to the channel to have the experience, and then it is your choice as to how to respond to that experience. You can use it to serve a truer alignment of your own definitions and choices, so as to uncover and recognize the unsubscribe button. You can use it to fuel a dramatic experience that you find exciting and meaningful to your present sense of yourself, in which you consent to act as if you do not have the power to unsubscribe from a channel of experience and tune in from a fresh and clear appreciation of all that you are – to what truly moves and fulfils you. To what wholly engages and enlivens. The presence of conscious choice is a light in which one can always choose again. But the hiding of such choice in justifictions is the invitation to a darkness that open the door to all kinds of related unmindful guests.

When we really get the message – we don’t need the messenger. The message is always YOU but the form in which the message comes is often unrecognized and denied. The single most transformative act is that of accepting love-worthiness wholly – as a foundation without which love of life our world and each other, fails to truly manifest.

Bashar: Your life always works – always works! When you place invalidations upon yourself, you do not see that it is working. That is the only difference.

Sketches of direction for God Implicit

Consider that the Higgs field hypothesises an all pervading field in which certain particles acquire mass as a result.

Allow me to suggest a Field by which all manifest idea acquires consciousness. Existence itself is ALWAYS perfectly coincident with and inseparable from conscious awareness with NO exception.

Awareness or Mind is thus 'hidden' by adopting the concept of a separated 'mind' among other 'minds' in a world of bodies or materiality agreed to be or defined-accepted as OUTSIDE and APART from mind - which is limited to a 'self' felt to exist apart from and able to act upon its object-world so as to validate and express its own autonomy... to itself and to its 'others'.

The first part of what I wrote points toward the self-awareness-existence that cannot be objectified but which all objects attest to.

The second part is the adoption or identification with objects of awareness such as to presume or believe oneself as if separated the all in all and acting upon it. This is the play of forces of action/reaction, seeming to operate as a personal sense, which gives rise to a mechanical sense or a programmed conditioning of mind by its own self limiting factors.

To this sketch - for what could it be but a sketch - I suggest there is no outside God and no inside self apart from God. The examination of the mechanism by the mechanical yields a view of a machine - that seems to be present to experience through or use according to whatever purpose or desire is active.

To turn to the machine truths for guidance is to desire mechanical systems in place of the pristine wonder and quality of being that we are or that I Am.

The name of God in the Judeo-Christian aspect is pointing to the All Pervading and ONLY 'I Am'.

Your awareness of being is perfect evidence of I Am - with no interpretive role required whatsoever, but the mentality of a separate inner and secret sense of self equates this to its self concept.

The world as we generally mean it - as an externality, is always an interpreted event and never actually KNOWN. And yet there is no separation of awareness and event in true awareness.

Look for it now and find this self. You will not find it. No one has ever found it. No one will ever find it. There are self concepts that shift and change from moment to moment and there is a purpose of protecting and persisting as that sense of self demands.

Purposes are attributes of mental focus and not attributes of a material world presumed or desired external and separate from the event of beholding or recognizing.

The God of Unified Mind equates to an absence of self-world as separate states and is symbolized as threat and denied recognition in awareness. The projection of God as the Super Ego is that fear of love personified as the symbol of a power to kill that the denial of Life effectively enacts to a present awareness.

Power then is accorded to the separating and denying aspect of a conscious focus within the idea of self-alone or self-apart or self-over and is displaced from love's unified appreciation of its Allness in every part.

Truth - as the IS - simply IS and nothing at all can be added or taken from Is but that a state of is-not or unreality is explored as idea.

The word or concept 'God' is one that has and can be used to point to that which only is and yet which can never be objectified or defined.

To the mind predicated on self-world definitions it therefore does not exist except as mere wordplay to no practical effect

But within Itself it is perfectly shared and definitions of separated or split purpose have no actual foundation - though the experience arising from their identification seems real to that identification.

Channelling - the Prequel

Whereas our conventional view presupposes a private mind - which is asserted and defended as a personified entity called 'my self', the actual nature of mind is open. Not that it is without integrity as to its capacity to focus as an individualized expression of the creative life principle - but that such an expression is not really one of private ownership or authority so much as a shared cooperative and intercommunicating oneness.

The apparent breaking off or disconnection from onemindedness IS the experience of a 'me myself I' as a private or self-existing power or authority of assertion. Ideas one accepts into one's mind by validating with belief, are freely accepted as they are freely given - and yet the notion of a coercive will has arisen with the exploration of the idea of separation that arises from the act of identifying self-definition with idea, symbol and concept; with self image.

The act of identifying in concept is one of experiencing through limitation. The experience may be of limiting - but is still occurring within Mind unlimited. But the definition and defence of a limited point of experience becomes self-conditioning such that we believe what we see and see only what we believe and defend our 'mind' against Mind - which becomes interpreted as a threat to the persistent survival of the 'mind that thinks its self'. Such a mentality seems trapped in time and space and struggle to an eventual and inevitable death - for it 'battles' against a 'world' that is completely overwhelming when its fragile conditions for existence are undermined or depleted or worn out.

Yet to such an apparent stuckness is a 'back door' always open - that is - of influences that widen perspective and release a self-defeating futility, allowing a greater integrity and honesty of communication as an experience of self-world that is more truly integrated and ultimately transcended in one-minded realisation.

These 'influences' are simply the Living Universe of which one is both one with and expression of - simultaneously. But they are essentially active only to a willingness that invites, accepts and honours - and will be experienced in forms that are the most recognisable witness to the mind in its particular patterns of self-definition and defence.

And so they may seem to be external - in terms of spiritual teachings via books or channelled entities or indeed direct relationships with teachers or inspirational others - Indeed with any truly conscious relationship. But what is active is the movement of trust, honesty and discernment amidst a mind that is yet also fearful, manipulative and prone to conditioned reactions and perceptions.

The exclusivity of mind-in-world focusses on the surface of forms and determines meanings relative to an already identified database of forms and meanings, and it would use all things to reinforce its capacity to prevail over its experience, but the mind of listening is a willingness to release the past in a fresh appreciation of what is presencing itself to be experienced anew.

This is simply to come back into our right or true mind, and yet this shift, to a mutual but tacit conspiracy of wrong-mindedness will seem to trigger or uncover identifications with guilts, fears, and confusions that seem to work against the acceptance of a unified and therefore unconflicted awakening to peace. But in truth the uncovering of the apparent blocks IS the process of their undoing or reinterpretation - as free willingness invites and allows.

Even as a fragment of mind is not actually separated off from the whole, so an apparent fragmentation of relationships is restored to unified purpose; to harmony. Part of this is expressed in the support and guidance of insight and awakening that is available via channels of communication whose existence is itself a witness to communication within a greater consciousness than is presumed to be limited to a brain in a body in a material world.

For the nature of our being is at once the receiving and giving of the totality of Communication in which we are both the channel via which it shares as well as the sharing. For they are not in truth separable.

At the level of a sense of separateness, we may experience our true Self or right-mindedness as an illumining or guiding Spirit, until guilt and fear are undone to allow an embrace of inclusion yo replace division.

The unifying and integrating purpose of healing or awakening to wholeness is the core essence of nature of being

I wrote this in passing a blog entry titled "Poetry makes nothing happen"
An article exploring the idea of poetry, politics, culture and change.

The mentality of changing the world to align with idea, can ride along with changing times as if they witness to its power. Until the idea loses all currency in the changing tide.
But the beholding and expressing of the movement of life is inherent to the movement itself. Life knows itself Good – not in polarised comparison – but beneath and yet beyond the capacity of definition.

The reflections that we invite will grow or fade their respective foundations.

The power to distort and distract from
or the power abiding in.

The essential innocence beneath experience is a freedom that cannot be grasped.
But which may express itself creatively anyway. Any way at all.

The freedom to think, to focus upon to accept or identify meanings is a freedom of experience, in which a mind may ‘lose itself’ in its own meanings and definitions – yet can never altogether lose the movement of being by which it lives – and without which is nothing.

The communication of Being to its seemingly errant ‘consciousness’ is primarily felt below the threshold of consciousness but breaks through and without coercion, guides and grounds.

The coercive will can make what it will of this according to its current capacity.

Poetry may serve an expression of the unspeakable, such that the movement of Life is honoured, for the gift of being – that shares and is not denied or rendered dead by even a moments passing.

Conspiracy theory?

The conspiracy that I see is the conspiracy of the mutual agreement to put an imagined or believed self-interest above the truth - indeed above our own living truth.
This conspiracy has a tiny part on the surface which is the making of alliances and the joining in hate - or the joining in the agreement to judge which ALWAYS 'places' the feeling of guilt OUTSIDE on the other - or sometimes outside the private-seeming mind upon the otherness of the body.

But for the most part it is not a conscious act - even within the meaning of conscious that the ego uses, but an unconscious permission given to a hidden mind to maintain the separative mentality of thought and thought-based identification and experience. This promises us freedom but is a tyrannous will because it expresses the denial of what we actually are - even while promising to protect or guide or fulfil us. But it always speaks to that which identifies with lack - and strengthens it. This polarises into the victimiser and the victim - yet noone but has both of these active to have either of them.

The mind works to present things in different forms and variable contexts in ever shifting ways so as not to be able to see nothing for what it is. Nor to see the solutions or reshuffle of change to be no real change at all. For it works to keep nothing seeming to be something and hides Everything in the appearance of 'something else'.

To repent the conspiracy of the lie, one has to identify it within oneself and choose not to use it. The sins of the world that trigger our reaction are the way to get in touch with that within ourself. If we do not merely react - but open our minds to a truly present awareness - to the Holy Spirit - THEN there is a movement that is accepted, recognized, joined with and given expression - or lived out-from.

Polarized reaction is always the expression of the original error and can only serve to hide the error in new forms of mutually agreed definitions.

Being led to awakening is being led to the end of the self that we took to be our own, and is freely and willingly undertaken within a growing trust that is met with a different basis of living. Of course this brings deep fears into the light - along with the mentality that kept them hidden and would do so again. This IS the opportunity to awaken from the habit of 'going it alone' using the voice of a self judging will - to the grace of our being as we truly are - and not as judgement made us - and all things - to seem.

If you meet a lie or a lovelessness - will you deny your Christ to the crowing of a mind that denies the dawning of light?
Yes - if you meet within a tacit loveless intent.

Look therefore to that love is alive in your heart and extending to your world - as a sense of shared value in your everyday life. Then if trial or a persecution should seem to come upon you, you have a relationship within that you will find the way to hang in with, while saying or doing what is to be said and done - or leaving unsaid and undone what is to be left unsaid and undone.

There is no order of difficulty in miracles, because a lie cannot be more or less true, but where our attachment to an untruth or a wishful rendition held more dear than truth, we will find ourselves struggling as if to keep some aspect of the untrue - apart from the honesty of peace, because we fear that we will lose something dear to us.

In the struggle to protect our investments, we are blind, mean spirited and fearful of threat and enemies - even amongst our allies.
When others act self-righteously in opposition to our error, we easily focus on their errors instead of upon their message, and are if anything reinforced in our own beliefs in the necessity to distrust and defend against change.

The 'ego' doesn't care where it finds a host as long as it can persist. But it works by deception so as to feed its prospective host with a special benefit and personal sense of worth that is not automatically shared with all - but to those who meet the conditions.

So the belief in the ego as residing in oneself as a person or in persons is not true, rather, the belief that gives rise to the personal sense.
"Who do I extend love to?" and "who do I withdraw attention and embrace from?" - rather than being the extension of love that simply knows how to be with whatever it meets as part of its Self.

Jesus could and can talk to and be received by people that society rejects - though he had no time for timewasters. This is not because he is special, but because he is not special.Not so special as to morally denigrate another Life that shares the same Father or Source.

God is no respecter of persons means we are equal in God's Sight. No hierarchy of value or worthiness or status whatsoever. But he does not attack our vanity. He simply does not see it because it is base-less.

The thinking by which the world, and our life in it, are experienced and seemingly shared as reality is disintegrating. Yet what truly has Integrity can therefore shine through and truly share in a world made to limit sharing. This awakens to that we are not and never were as we think ourselves to be, and as we abide in what we are - it becomes in us, rather than an attempt to become something we are not.

Let us breathe with God, and thus truly breathe together and be filled with life anew.
Not around the concepts of God - but as living that shines through when the clouds of concept are released.

Ego, and the Life-Presence

Judgement is the tool of ego mentality. However so subtle or cunningly planted, it always expresses hate, rejection, exclusion, specialness and ignorance. And is expert at doing so in the guise or forms of love, with flattering appeals to the reader to be 'in' the know relative to the invalidated as if IT knew anything beyond splitting off from communicated presence in order to validate its existence to itself. It knows no existence but its thoughts, which re-frame the direct communication of presence as interpretation whose overriding intent is to substantiate its own persistence as the judge.

  Ego is a usurpation and exploitation of the quality, energy and feeling of Life. But a coercive intent is active only upon the energy and attention that is invested. Life is unaffected by imaginary battles, for the ego battles only with itself. But although the ego is the idea of autonomous power, it can only 'run' or be supported in mutual agreement to 'separate'. To tacitly agree to blank the Life-Presence and determine the meanings of all things from the standpoint of personally asserted judgement. Ego is the idea of personal possession and as such is dispossessed of the Life-Presence.



One cannot be ego because it is not an actual presence, but one can use it to play out a presentation and give it preference over presence.

Ego is form based identification in which Meaning, or the Oneness Presence, is obscured and thus experienced as a disconnected lack of Identity, that seeds itself as the 'becoming' identity, in search for and defence of itself. All things are purposed to such identification in defence, because all things ARE of One Presence and the persistence of judgement demands the withdrawal from and withholding of the Life-Presence.

The ego has no presence or power of its own, and uses only the power you give it - who are one with and identical to Life-Presence, in act of using ego-thinking or judgement.

As long as you believe it offers you something you want more than to abide in and as the Life-Presence - you will follow your thinking as if it had any basis in reality.

But the reality it offers you is deception, yet deception in which sin, sickness and death become as if meaningful  triumph over the Life-Presence, IN which they have no meaning.

For what else could result from separating from your Life-Presence but the dissonance of conflicted identity, the breakdown of communication and functionality and the fulfillment of separation in death?

At some point the credentials of the basis and authority of the mentality of judgement must be called into question by you who  ARE entirely in and of  Life-Presence - not in belief - but as the only actual existence available to be had.

The teacher of ego is the wish of self-specialness that induces insane thinking and presents it as your own.

The Teacher of Life-Presence is always present - to a willingness to learn. Whatever the forms or agencies by which the meaningless is seen as meaningless and the true is appreciated true, the essential basis is the desire and willingness of receptivity brought present - not to external forms or authorities, but to the direct and unmediated recognition of true and whole Presence.

The separating mentality is like an addiction that is replaced by a Life-expressing habit, such that instead of seeking to be filled with life , seek to allow that which is discerned Alive - to move and guide you. It is guiltless, its peace is without fear. It is without coercion upon you.

It is not what you expect. It cannot be taught.

But everything we think and do always teaches its source - where it is coming from, so teaching is not an option, but what we choose to source ourselves is, for as long as the ego is in our mind as a potential or residual habit, it stands as a choice we had invested in - regardless of its unreality, AND as a witness for the power of choosing.

Therefore give 'choosing' to the discernment of the heart and don't feed the habit of the 'chooser' and thus choose willingly and actively to live out-from the intuition and appreciation of Life instead of joining in a loveless self-serving lie. This is not other than to be innately joyful and conscious instead of problematically immersed in self-regard.

The ego 'loves' spirituality, because it loves attention and it loves employment. And in the suggestion that your authentic presence is somehow in some other moment, or becoming perfect or getting cleaned up, or needing protection from fraudsters and the corrupting influence of false teachings - IT teaches that you are lacking in integrity and cannot be trusted - and so listen to IT and it will not only 'protect' you - but will prove that you are lacking in integrity and DO need its next course in 'getting there'.

This 'ego' is taught in everything we think and do and say while we are using it as our source and guide - that is while we accept its thinking as our own.

But what we choose to learn or value is not dictated by the ego, but by what we choose to give attention to. Regardless of the hooks by which we may be baited into reaction, the persistent disregard of the ego mentality in ourselves or others, releases energy and attention from reaction and frees it for Living. (There is no plural to ego excepting to the desire to go forth and multiply it). The 'Christed' Perspective is not a specialness of self - but a recognition of the Christ Presence in the one you meet.

The claim of the personal sense to exist in its own right is the determiner of the perception of lovelessness.

But watch the mind and see if the messages you see are not exactly what the messengers were instructed to find. Purpose dictates all. Shared purpose directs the undoing of a dictatorial mentality.

Thoughts on reading A Course in Miracles

A seeming power of the Course is in revealing radically powerful insights - and yet if we are left only with a sense of how to, or an enthusiasm that is merely wishful, then we are not abiding in and being the insight but tying to fit it into 'old bottles'.

To become undone of a self-definition allows Life to move Intimately as a wholeness of being. But to be busy living out-from self-definition is to have objectified or disconnected a mind-imagination from Love's integration. All the feedback of our experience then shows this is so and the alert of such dissonance, calls for a pause in which to calm the mind by releasing attention and identification from our thoughts, and allowing and embracing the moment wholly as it is.

We don't know what it is. That is the freedom we have forgotten. For our not-knowing is letting God.

Grabbing the meanings on the page ignores the space between the words. Slowly reading in a living relationship with the author and source essence, allows the meanings that words can only point to in YOU. This Peace and Authority Is You - but while you habitually identify with your thoughts - they usurp your awareness of Love's Presence.

Let revealed truth abide as your Holy Spirit. Your Holy Spirit is the Voice and Guide in which you are reintegrated to True Being, and from a basis of true authority and peace. The coercive mind is always a sign of fear in hiding. This will not serve the purpose that is alive in your heart now. But seeing it and leaving your mind open (to your Holy Spirit), will.

Love's nature

Love's nature is to be known and shared as love.

You may hold thought of not-love and accept that in place of the guidance and joy of your own heart in love.

By this act you know love not - but suffer conflict, and pain of loneliness, where only Love is.

The love that Is, does not enter the conflict you make. Love can but 'Be and share Itself' and cannot be made into what it is not. In the belief that what you made has changed Love, you accept error at the foundation of your being because love is the foundation in which all is found.

You may think that you want the power of your own thought, to judge and define all according to its substitution for love, and while you persist, you are free to experience as your thinking gives you. But as you recognize this is not the fulfilment of your heart's desire, you are free to release what you made and allow Love to reclaim Its Own.

Always, by your own acceptance.

And so is Love free, even 'here' in the world of self-illusion.

Never, is Love coercive. When it seems love calls for sacrifice, look again and be not deceived by thoughts you made before. What is shown, is shown by the guide YOU ACCEPT. When you are ready to accept love as it is, you will no longer be willing to accept an asserted wish in place of simple willingness, and Love is welcomed - as it is - where it Is.

Never, are you locked into the mind you make but by an unexamined wish you accept as speaking for your love.

Love is not threatened, though the shared appreciation of Love is lost to thoughts that are of an unshared foundation.

Such a foundation acts out as if it is threatened - for it has no reality but yours - as you give it. And by this you believe you are threatened.

And so you keep this foundation hidden, lest you be undone of what you take for your being.

Now that you understand this is so, you bring willingness to be without defence amidst the experience of persecution and ask anew of the Guide that has not left you, and can never leave you. You ask in faith of love even where love seems denied or crucified - and thereby you believe and accept not, the insane foundation whereby Love seems to hurt and kill its own.

Persisting in renewed willingness for love, is denying the mind its capacities of distraction and defence, and so there will be an exposure or a coming to the surface of what had been hidden BY fear. But this is serving the opportunity to truly forgive your world and yourself - in the release of the thoughts that cause them to be experienced as distorted fragments of a broken love.

To be a part of is not to be apart from. The reflection of withheld thought is always fearful - even if it seemingly beautiful beyond measure, it will be held hostage to the fear of loss.

To be a complete beginner in love, is to let love lead the way. Whenever it becomes obvious that the mind is trying to push or pull love to its own thought, begin again.

To let God Be the Love that Lives you - is a matter of peaceful acceptance - whatever the apparent presentations or perceptions. God 'takes the last step' in a journey we cannot complete alone, because we come to realize that our first step away was but a thought accepted in error.

The 'journey' is the reversal or undoing of what was never really done.

 I wrote the above in commentary and response to reading the extract below from A Course in Miracles.


"You do not realize how much you have denied yourself, and how much God in His love would not have it so. Yet He would not interfere with you because He would not know His Son if he were not free. To interfere with you would be to attack Himself, and God is not insane. When you denied Him, you were insane. Would you have Him share your insanity? God will never cease to love His Son, and His Son will never cease to love Him. That was the condition of His Son's creation, fixed forever in the Mind of God. To know that is sanity. To deny it is insanity. God gave Himself to you in your creation, and His gifts are eternal. Would you deny yourself to Him?"

CHAPTER NINE : "THE CORRECTION OF ERROR"
XI. "The Denial of God"

For once, Richard Dawkins is lost for words (as if it mattered)

There is a fundamental patterning to human consciousness that is a conditioning at such a fundamental level that it is largely invisible and acted from rather than observed. Attempting to bring this to awareness is difficult within the framework that we are talking of because it requires a pause from presumed identity and experience and a willingness to listen in trust and without defence.

The cliche; 'thinking outside the box' has an origin in true inspiration and clarity of a sudden shift of illumination. The 'box' is the mind as defined or reflected by its projected understandings or current 'knowledge. I try to articulate a perspective that is of an entirely different foundation; Mind unboxed.

To attempt to translate meanings into one's own definition set and thus pigeon hole and react via the database of the taken for granted, is not a process of real communication - but a defence against it. Discerning a meaning is a capacity we all have but only when we feel a relational trust within ourselves. Nothing is so blinding to truth as thinking we know. This doesn't mean we never know, but that the wholeness of knowing includes a truly relational receptivity rather than assertive combative attempts to prevail. That also has its own experience - but it is an expression of a self conflicted mind and thus an experience of conflicted and fragmented identity and purpose. Awakening TO observe such a 'mind' in act, is also becoming free of it as one's presumed identity. This has parallels with scientific exploration in concept - but transcends concept.

The above was a rewritten introduction. What follows beneath is what arose in me to write into the conversations and considerations of the seeming conflict between science and religion.



That you Are is self evident - because existence itself is a fact that only a fool could question - but proceeding beyond stark Fact of being - attempts to define or describe WHAT it is that IS - and there's where the mind begins to spin.

As well as extending the mind 'out-from' premises of its own definition, there is also inherent capacity to witness or observe; thought, emotion, sensation and the use of intention and attention in act. This capacity is always simply present but tends to be obscured by a dense and highly complex 'self protectiveness' of identity in thought.

Those who release such a wilful and often ingeniously hidden wish to be special in one's own right, come to be still and know - that is - to allow an awareness of being that expresses the qualities and nature of be ing directly.

This is uncoverable and recognisable because it is already true beneath the overlay of mind in its experience of its thought.

But is invisible and unimaginable when attention is bound up in wishful or theoretical structures of thought and strategy that seek to manually manipulate and exploit life, our fellow man and our world as if that were justifiably and inevitably necessary.

These latter propensities are endemic to the human conditioning and so we DO attempt to define the Un-definable Nature of Is, in symbol, image and concept, of its tangible qualities and effects. This is always an act of rejection and limitation of wholeness of being, and the reaction to such action generates a sense of external adversity that seems to be 'other' to what felt like an act of ownership and control. A self limiting and conflicting identity.
Identifying with its stories instead either of using them as sketches, signs and reminders to open into our OWN Intimacy of Being or discarding them as meaningless.

Without true grounding in realisation and demonstration, such terms as once attempted to speak of direct experience, become fodder for the manipulative deception of a masked identity. There is a 'baby in the bathwater' of religion.

The scientific exploration increasingly extends into specialisations that distract ever further from its foundation. Will the tower of Babel will be re enacted?

Heart AND Mind are a unified Singularity, but mind can 'go off in its thought' and seem to recreate (interpret) all things in its own image. But this is a disintegrating experience of what mind truly is, and therefore of perception and of self. Religion has generally become diluted and degraded to self-validating justifications without real demonstration. And simply another aspect of what asserts a personal and cultural presentation or persona.

Though there is inevitably a market and a circus associated with anything human, there is also a genuine desire to uncover truth in the heart and mind - such as to integrate and restore wholeness of being and brightness of presence.

Opening to alternate or expanded beliefs may provide stepping stones to a greater perspective, but the nature of belief is the programming that gives the interpretive experience of this and every moment of existence. For what we accept as true ABOUT any aspect of existence will BE our personal interpretive experience of what actually we CANNOT really separate from, in order to judge it. Discernment doesn't need to divide and rule. Trust doesn't need to manipulate. Nor does peace need to persuade or recruit.

There is Infinitely More to Life than the world that arises as our perception; the surface that seems to be our thoughts. But there is deeply hidden human taboo against uncovering it. Our so called sanity seems to demand we keep Mind hidden by thinking. But look at our world and accept that we are hardly sane!
Same old gods, same old sacrifice! Deception can play any side of any argument, but doesn't flourish in a genuine willingness to commune-icate.

There are no such persons as alive

That which is Alive - perhaps more accurately, That Which Is - is our Source, our Truth and our Nature - Self Evidently So.
 The use of imagination and desire can make images and identifications of meaning of Is, and give priority to a sense of self garnered from such identifications, but nothing really can or has happened to Is.

 The Gifts of Love that thread our experience of illusion, are Heaven Sent, if followed to their roots. For even a partial love contains the echo of love's truth and Truth is One.

 An identification with forms and meanings associated and given to forms, is loss and the attempt to escape or cover the feelings of loss. But love is not a story frozen in images of the past to be engraved in pain upon a broken and bereft life.

 The true blessings of the past are with you always - closer than you think. But trust that attention and intent are guided by That Which Knows, and allow that which cuts through the reality we thought real to illuminate a gift that could not otherwise be received. Though staying open in such a love seems to cut our very life away as we believed it to be.

 And with the living, let them be recognized in the Living. You are in the Presence of the Living One and your gift of acceptance is not of the desires of image and identification, but is directly felt and received, whether there seem to be observable effects or not.

Note: This response arose from one who said 'there are no such persons as dead', in expression of the Intuition of Life. The 'person' seems self evident - but is a construct that serves as a basis for an unquestioned life - lived out on surface as if an independent reality and suffered through as the 'human condition', when perhaps it would be better called the 'human conditioning'.

A personal history revisioned

I had uncharacteristically felt a desire to know. This feeling wasn't part of my ordinary everyday sense of myself. As if a depth was rising amidst a mind of surface.

 I was unravelled all of a 'day' as many are over years, though time is not what it seems. That is, a dissonance of being rose as an awareness that I could not avoid. My attempt to evade it, was an enactmenting a wish for an independence of self. At a level kept beneath my focus of awareness, I was trying to manipulate attention so as to 'become' a something in my own right. I was uncovering truth, I was opening secret places. I was peeling away the layers of mind that constitute a state of ignorance as to the true nature of Mind itself. All was opening to me - except that at each revelation, did the dissonance rise again, (of which I was turning away), and so my attention was effectively shepherded in and up though the chakras of the structure of what body-mind appears through, without being able to rest or abide in anything found. As this consciousness approached its own root, time expanded immeasurably, worlds within worlds and lifetimes in an instant - for the seeds of mind contain and know all that comes forth thereof - and were revealed to me as infinite potential, though the nature of all seemed forever appearing and disappearing, as if each instant of experience is itself a birth or becoming.
 Such was the loss of time's continuity that there is no temporal order for what fragments can be intimated here.  For everything is happening at once and surely, none of it happened to me - but somehow in me - in a mind stripped of self reference.

 Everything is directly.

 Total Freedom seemed paralysis to any attempt to map or control.
 Eternal Mind suddenly revealed the memory and motion of my born existence.

 A force of will arose in blindness amidst an inseparability of Mind.
 And the dissonance 'outed itself' at its root.

 Within the grasp of life is fear of death.
 And in the clinging to such illusion is a fear of evil born, for truth is abandoned and all else trod underfoot, that Eternal Mind be forgot and my will be done.

 Yet beneath and somehow pervading this blind urge of a murderous terror was a stillness of a peace that simply revealed itself. Even amidst descent in oaths of pretence, lie and denial, was this quiet simply being - for though terror seemed total - and forcefully persuasive of being totally engaging - this calm and direct curiosity arose in a clear moment regardless of all attempt to collapse consciousness and regain a structure of solidity and boundary in which a world made solid and a partitioned mind in which I could think.

 But whatever had Opened, hadn't in fact been able to be shut again, for I could not accept the evil as my self - nor could I put it out onto the Life. It had to be a mistake in my mind. Yet one that I was so identified with as to be without practical responsibility of discernment.

 Whatever pervaded or Moved in the Immanence of Mind, was the Awakening of my heart - even though it was initially an awakening to a desecrated altar.

 What was the nature of this story but of a dream of a life that hid within itself, a fear of its own evil - from which it attempts to turn inside out to 'escape' itself into an indirectness of its own story-justifications - identified as safety and self, and defended against all and any real relationship?

 The seed of fear is a wish that patterns its shadow as denial, division and limitation. Identifying with disconnected thought, cuts off the heart's guiding and knowing of its own wholeness, and then 'acts' or pictures out as if it had been cut off and must survive and prevail against a now unrecognised Condition. For a thief sees its own mind in all and shrinks from the light of love as from threat of danger.

 So I got 'my life' back, only it was no longer mine alone - for it could not go back to sleep and its thoughts were like sand castles. For what rose in me now, directly, was undoing of the mind of the lie - as it found my acceptance, one step at a time.

 In a singular moment amidst the seed level of Mind had been a vision of the pattern of division and denial that was what I had accepted as 'my life in the world'. This pattern was symbolized to me as saying "No" to Life. In accepting that this had been my will and ceasing to hide it, had I been uncovered in a "Yes" to Life.

The "No" to Life was pictured out in time and space as event, relationship and situation, and my part in the undoing or healing of such a misalignment was simply to refuse or desist from enacting or accepting the "No". The "Yes" would be given as a Correction or uncovering of love, where a surface of form based meaning had seemed to enact a witness to a loss of love. It wasn't for me to do the "Yes" but simply to wake to the prompts that revealed my "No" to me, so that I could remember my purpose and function in truth - which is not an independent doing, but a shared awareness being. It may still look like doing, but all proceeds from a different motive than witnessing to independent will.

 Where something of the nature of "my will" and "my life" had seemed a thief or even a murderer, the Nature of the healing and replacement of such thoughts was felt as a Gift and a Grace of Being. A Re-cognition prior to the play of the mind - in which 'self and other' have never been born, or suffered, or died, and yet which is the Source, Nature and Condition of love, truth, peace, joy and freedom, that abides with us despite every convoluted imagination in which we otherwise become temporarily identified, and slips through our defences to reveal to us as we are willing to accept.

Waking up

The active focus of our awareness is beneath - or prior to - the seeming actions and distractions that constitute our experience of being a person in a world.

It is like being focused on a prism thought, by which a split mind plays out a power of choosing between. Any power it seems to have being given to it by your attention and intention - for such is how we accord value and 'choose' is it not?

We can not ever truly or finally choose or accept a choice that isn't there to choose and Rest Complete in fulfilment, and yet while we dally with the promises of choosing - as if there was something in a specialness of self creation that we actually want - then we refuse to let go the patterns of self by which we voluntarily suffer our own attack on our Peace.

To open, even for an instant at a time, to a true perspective upon the nature of our unforgiveness or un-release, is to open a space in which to see not from within a prismed split sense, but clearly and directly, in wholeness.

Such direct experience is not happening TO a you - but is expressing an entirely redeeming restatement of you and your world. Redeeming, because it locates and knows all that it is - within Wholeness, of One Mind, of One Will, as One Body. This may not seem so, because any interpretations of direct experience - made after the fact - will tend to reinstate the framework of the thinking judging defining 'self'. To be able to discern within direct experience will come with a capacity to abide as it.

But as such Light of direct Awareness, That Is recognizably awakening and transforming you, grows your conscious awareness - it is realized to Be your conscious awareness. To be the Presence and the Gift of You.

The substitutions of thinking will fade, fall away or dissatisfy, and with them, the 'self' that seemed once to have completely engaged your attention. Yet You are presently in Expression as the sharing of the gift of the awareness of love - because there is nothing else. And yet such an acceptance of peace of being does not make fanfare in or make special the mind through which the world is yet experienced. But it does yield its experience to a guiltlessness, that is pictured out as action unwithheld, presence unwithdrawn, truth allowed plainly to speak instead of covered over or kept secret.

Taking off the pressure on the brakes, seems like losing control. Taking off the pressure on the accelerator, seems like losing excitement. Losing control seems like losing something that you actually believed you had. But never for a moment have we had anything but an illusion of control via the holding to our Mind's Eye of a wish to be what we are not.

To identify with thought, invites dissonant experience of separate meanings, that can seem to conflict and influence each other in an endless dance of no consequence. But to release identification with thought is to forgive the separating wish, and to be danced from thought based meanings into one Light.

Abide in Me, as I abide in Thee.
And allow the Life,
Already Given,
To Share
What Already Is.

Interjections of old habits
are evidence of
the interjections of old habits.
Make nothing of them,
and even these will be used
as witnesses to Wholeness.

Watch what you place on the altar of your desire.
Pray for the uncovering of the true desire of your heart.
Your willingness and your free attention is miracle ready
Because love is no longer being actively excluded.
Let no thought of your own become the seed of action,
and Thoughts of One shall reveal the whole to you,

Being Real

Being real.

In Bartholomew's book “I come as a Brother” is raised the question:

"As love is our true nature, can it be that we have already experienced it, but misidentified it?"

It is intentionally a question that illumines its own answer. We are already experiencing our True Nature - but are actively misidentifying.

The nature of our capacity to misidentify is something that we automatically tend to keep hidden - and would seem to us to be normal survival activity. But no matter how we try to protect our 'self', we are constantly meeting conditions that we feel unsafe in, struggle in and defend ourselves against. We tend to want a 'miracle' to enable our defences to prevail, rather than to illuminate a Greater Safety that our defences have hidden from view.

Outside of or apart from such a connected feeling and relational appreciation of life - is a ‘manually operated existence’ that rides upon utter dependence on life - and yet presents itself as much - and for as long as it can - as an independence of will. And may even attempt to die in clinging to this will rather than surrender into a Greater Life than its 'own'.

Being unreal is an imaginative exercise - yet one that is fleshed out in the full gamut of human experience - and suffered as if it happens at the will or direction of an Other.

Where is the answer to an imaginary but really-experienced problem of a struggling conflicted self to be found but in its arising?

In this sense I feel that being real - in terms of our human existence - is of listening within and without at the same time - as our ongoing honesty of being. It is the desisting from, and the undoing of, a 'mind' that distracts its attention by externalising everything and interpreting it in terms of division and control.

This is NOT our true mind or true nature - and the wish for it must be uncovered and seen directly for what it is - BEFORE it is used as a basis for perception, conception and identification. Because once we 'take the ride' we experience everything awry.

At the prospect of looking within, at our own thought - rather than through its lens, we may fear that we will uncover our own damnation - that is - our own rejection. We may feel 'safer' at least temporarily to see what we reject or hate - projected as if outside ourselves.


When writing something recently of the Call of our times for a true and grounded Sanity, I looked up the list of attributes that a ‘teacher of God’ must acquire in the Manual of A Course in Miracles, and found that trust was placed first, with all others following on. I had thought that honesty was going to be first - but that is because I personally now have that initial trust and presumed it of my brothers when it may not always yet be so.

Trust ...
Once that has been achieved, the others cannot fail to follow.
Only the trusting can afford honesty, for only they can see its value.

There then follows a greater exposition of honesty than our surface notions of telling the truth; of honesty as congruency and consistency of desire, thought and deed.

I came to such an active trust as a result of experiencing of a kind of paralysis from its opposite. That is - from the exposure of the nature of the 'mind' or 'self' to a Prior Awareness. It could be said that at its most fundamental level, it ran out of time - of support - of allegiance - of meaning. It was replaced - not in time, but before time, with a Gift. A 'Yes" that replaces the "no". The “no” being the stringing together of the refusal of Life in 'mutual agreements' - which makes the experience of  'life' that an unconscious denial gives makes real.

Synchronous with timelessness is all that we experience 'in time' as a linear construct of events. Unfinished 'business' in time will not allow the eternal embrace of a loving communion in peace - for the energetic habits of refusal express as a will to make reality for oneself - that in turn creates and maintains a sense of lack, limitation - and a need to 'manage' a life within such a drama of self.

But with the Gift of trust offered to our being - there is now a clear sense of dissonance in using "no" as a means of getting - and feels continuing the old pattern to be anathema. Se find that in the willingness and the prompt of NOT USING our "no" - we become the receptive space in which and through which a "Yes" activates by no power or virtue of our own thinking.

And so in time and over time, we uncover that the "Yes" is our true Mind and Nature - not to be wielded or used in or by the 'old patternings of mind' - but is itself preparing and ‘making straight the way’ of Its Own Dawning.

For God 'takes the last step' - that is - The Movement of Being Is freely and fully welcomed in a like Spirit.

The essential shift is a reversal of identity. Not a linear reversal in time - but of an upside down and inside out-ness, released as the core or basis of existence itself.

What does this mean in the love that you are - and share?
This question and its discovery is the life that replaced the life expressed by the old question, "what does this mean in the world for me".

When changes of a fundamental nature are unfolding to us - we are actively called to bring attention present. Which is to release it of its habitual routines or wanderings. Alignment with our True nature will open a joyous pathway - which itself is foundational to the new life. But the "no" of persisting in our own sense of command and control - will increasingly bring us out of accord with everything- and we suffer to be dragged kicking and screaming into a Life in which we have yet to find our true Foundation.

But Truth is of Itself and must be simply available to a willingness to receive - in Its terms. It is humanly a matter of willingness.

The Gift, which replaces what we thought to place upon the altar of our heart, is the Holy Spirit. Our Holy Spirit.

None can accept this for themselves alone - for its acceptance is the absence of any thought of separation from Love.

What is love but the willingness and capacity to overlook everything that does not matter and attend fully to that which does? Of a unified will, and in a unified appreciation.

The 'mind' must become the opportunity for release and forgiveness - in place of the re-enactment of the separation. Even as it seems to be acted out.

Great fears call on great willingness. It is true that in joining is strength - but pause to feel and know that our joining is first of a wholeness within - or we give strength to the mind of lack and weaken our capacity to hear the Guide and feel the Support and Surety of Being.

WE must trust beyond the 'reality' of our outer senses and turn within them back towards their source - or ‘being real’ will simply mean struggling and dying a life of empty and failing promises.

All has its true root in You, Whole. But the sense of oneself gained in the world, seems to be a 'separated' or independent 'whole' - over and against others of a like separateness. The mind in the world has an impossible task, but its loyalty to your will is unswerving. Awakening to your own will is the release of using story as a mask for a secret will. If you cannot ask for it in the Light - let it go as something that keeps you in the dark. You can ask for what is in your heart in Light, and the truth of what is moving in you will be revealed to your honesty. Truth is Lovely because it is congruent, whole and without conflicting parts. The Holy Spirit discerns us truly - because Holiness cannot 'leave truth' to play in 'stories'.

Our Holy Spirit is our bridge from an unreality to a true sanity, because in Holy Spirit we are revealed and healed of a suggestion that seems to split our mind - and project its split ... as the world.

What would the world be to a healed and unified heart and mind?

Please show me the way for such is my desire.

PS: Holy Spirit as a term for a Function of Teacher, Guide and Revealer is Universally inclusive of all agencies of help through the events, relationships, teachings, promptings and intuitive openings of our life. An Intimacy free of any constraints or definitions the mind or world might put upon them - and by our willingness, using all things to guide us to release a misidentification by which we suffer.

Awakening Joy, triggering loss.

The energetic quality of being
is of such joy
as is un imaginable
to a me-thinking split-off mind.

But any sense of losing such joy
is exactly the trigger
for a me-thinking to assert itself
as if actually split off.

For abandoning intent
by law brings abandonment
in mind that yet plays out in
an independence of will.

of a self-willing hurt

Reality, wonder and innocence open our minds

It isn't so much addressed to the article as to the comments, and is simply an attempt to articulate a perspective upon the mind and its experience.

 

Whatever Life Is ... is made tangible by its effects.
Awareness Is Knowing Something Is - as a Singularity - before any act of interpretation collapses, fixes or personalizes into a private or local 'experience' along with its ‘experiencer’.

This can be allowed in your own awareness in any moment, instead of merely dealing in concepts as if such activity is engaging in a real relationship. It always transforms our sense of self and may be allowed to open much further.


Scientific perspectives work out from a duality of mind and matter in presumption of a mind as an expression of, and dependent upon, a discrete genetically programmed entity as expression of its ecosystem, which is held as 'other to' and separate from its 'I'. This is an expression of a split "I" sense - or split mind.

In this it inherits the model of the 'orphaned, materially bound consciousness' of 'the Fall', but seeks to self-validate its own construct of its self upon its fragmented perception of a world whose meaning and dominion is presumed to be its dominion to determine and assert. By focussing primarily on that which effectively distracts attention from its actual utter dependence on and non-abandoned Current Life, it plays out in what is seen as organic entities, temporary existences amidst seeming polarity of opposition and conflict.

This 'I' sense interprets and seeks to prevail over all things apparently external to it so as to maintain and reinforce the program of the psychological mythos of the 'I' sense. Which at root is a disguised running-away from true Intimacy. This is essentially enacting the myth of killing-separating its own Parent or Source and denying or hiding the mind from Mind.

Thus the illusion of the 'I' experiencing and acting independently is merely a mechanism of an underlying background program that runs until it is replaced by a restored or reconnected 'Self', which is of a willingness to listen and receive and discern, so as to align and express a cooperative will beyond strategies of exclusive identifications.

For in any moment, WHAT, is aware, of anything?

The "I' is such a fundamental concept or construct. But having based I upon derived symbol and image and concept instead of in intimacy of being, truth as felt-sense or shared being, is adulterated and obscured.

Like financial derivatives, ideas can be developed and experienced as apparent substance until a reality readjustment forces the nature of an unreality to dawn.

But even within organic scientific terms there is a vast Unified Song of part known and unknown processes - in concert - that express and maintain the conditions that are Life as we have come to 'know it' - or define it. What is not apparent to the scientific presumption is that All That Is, Works as an implicate wholeness at and to a 'level' of awareness almost completely obscured by the mind of I WANT IT THUS! -  whose distorting judgement and definition reflect back as an orphaned consciousness seeking to cover its invalidity by means of mutually agreed definitions.

This is NOT likely to be noticed any mind already engaged in its own thought based definitions or meanings - because such a mind is wilfully hidden in the urge to survive and prevail as 'itself' - excepting such 'self' is image, construct and story - and is essentially made up as a mask persona to engage in a manipulative intent in which the true nature of being is obscured.

Oh .... cosmic observations, cycles and and fluctuations. Yes The forms of the Universe look like something and can be looked at in ever more detail in ever more focused and extended ways. Aspects of mechanism are uncovered that easily seduce us to further manipulate mechanism in service to the dominant social forces that express as our conscious and less conscious cultural values. We ‘become’ mechanism by living out from a mechanical construct. But only as we consciously choose to persist as such.

I felt to essay this writing in a willingness to say something that neither science or religion as generally espoused, offers perspective upon. It has an altogether different presumption of self - though of course my 'working-mind' and persona are tools in trade.

Wonder in its purity, is awesome. We stand dumb. There are innumerable paths by which Wonder is covered over - and likewise by which awe is uncovered anew.

None are to be excluded from the awareness of the Awesome Wonder of Being - which is truly the alpha and the omega within which all that we dream is experienced and passed beyond. Seeing might equate with believing - but Peace is utterly beyond beliefs or perception, though an innocent perception does not block its welcome.

The Light of God is man’s blindness - therefore we look away in order to persist in seeing by our own lights. But in acknowledging and welcoming Light, we are changed from within to see with new eyes - with innocent eyes. Love is not magic. But is of a Kind. Be of one kind and know one Mind.

Health is not defined or managed by the mind. Look not to the thinking managing mind for health! The mind imposes its meanings upon the heart as an imagining and in a deceit, whereby the offer of a seeming gift,serves only to take away the joy and peace of the heart’s knowing. For one who would gain the world must lose the Soul. The search for lost joy and peace - in the world - becomes the means of enslaving the heart to a lovelessness in which it can find nothing wholly true and so becomes dependant upon such crumbs as seem a while to hold lovelessness at bay, and which become idols to a false god in tyranny of a hidden fear. Health is the true nature of the heart. Truth’s Meaning is eternally unaffected by the play of mind-meanings. Love’s unified desire includes all that is real within its own being, and IS the non existence of all that is unreal. Loving is the gift of sharing the Movement of Life, and joy is the freedom song of the heart in gratitude. The body as an idea, may be renewed in truth, not as a better model to house imaginary but addictive self will - but as the vehicle of an awakened Will to share. Seeing the meaninglessness of self will reflected in the meaninglessness of the body, is to see a form based meaning as truly fruitless and to consent to be undone of the wish to prevail that such meanings invoked. The Nature of Truth is Rest because it seeks not but only finds. It cannot leave Itself or lose Itself outside a wish to imagine so - and such wish is no longer hidden amidst deception but is exposed as false, untrustworthy and unwanted. The expression of Soul in the world becomes the undoing of the idea of a world independent in existence from the Conscious Heart. For that which seems to be a power to define. limit and compel You, is that which must be discerned anew, in receptive willingness of a conscious trust, where the heart’s knowing is clearly and truly felt.
