The recognition of the nature of the act of definition as a
determination of meaning, in fixed or conceptual terms needs to
recognize that it is not an act of power over - but an extension of
freedom to - according to the active purpose being engaged in.
For
the mind-in-service can serve to embody felt meanings - but the mind in
judgement over, attempts the conforming or imposing of ideas removed
from the context of serving communication within relationship, to the
role of dictating or controlling the narrative and in that sense - the
form of the relational outcome.
This is simply the loss of
communication and relationship to a conceived sense of power - whether
seemingly winning or leading - or seemingly losing - or indeed using
the form of losing to manipulate the delusion of the winner. For power
against itself weaves an infinite web of deceits.
Attention can be
released from personality obsession arising from identity in judgement,
by willingness and desire to know the truth - that is - to be receptive
to the noticing of what is in fact being communicated or extended as
social manipulations - beneath the mutually agreed definitions, which
operate beliefs and investment in power over - and consequent fear of
loss of power to that which being robbed or denied - is expected to
deny.
Jesus extended the invitation of a willingness for knowing
truth, in which who you really are is set free of what a false sense of
power, limited and defined you to be. As long as we agree to define such
power outside our self, we embody an assertion of powerlessness that
then competes to align with or exploit wherever it seems to be.
Perhaps
Jesus would have rather found acceptance in a like willingness for
communication and relationship than denials in which he chose not to
join with - preferring to know the truth than kill it to feed
self-illusion. But that 'passion play' imprints the core conditioning of
a masquerade of power that must deny and indeed crucify, love, in order
to seem to exist in judgement over and apart from Life's Meaning.
The
reflection of the activity of our mind to our own notice - is our whole
way out from self-conflicted identities that cannot afford honesty or
actually grow trust. But only if that noticing abides wordless in the
heart's knowing without being sacrificed to a guilting script.
When
guilt insinuates itself in our thinking - it poisons all else to serve a
hidden agenda - for it must stay hidden for a part of who it allows you
to be - to mitigate or temporarily escape its pain. It puts down and
casts out in the name of your protection.
Discerning deceits so as
to no longer use them as the lens of our thought, is a primary
responsibility of our freedom to think or define, perceive, accept and
act from.
This is most practical information to any who desire
freedom from a deceit that robs us at our very foundation. But first one
has to notice that something is out-of-true and honestly enquire as to
the true - as the context in which to know the difference - and act upon
it.
Whatever the circumstances that bring one to a moment of or
stirring in true noticing - celebrate the noticing without defining it
in association with the conditions - excepting of course - in gratitude.
As

follow your interest. Perhaps actually people are more interested in
the dynamic of conflict and the fascination with evil. When it really
comes to it is all the talk of 'freedom' a way to persist in perpetual
war? Or is living unto the freedom of others as yourself, a willingness
to communicate and open genuine relationship? What we give out - is what
we get back.
Forgive yourself your judgements for they know not
what they do. Only a wholeness of being knows its purpose without hidden
or denied underside. Wholeness of being may not be definable - but that
does not been it is unrecognisable or unfelt. Wherever you feel and
know the true of you - is where your life unfolds to you.
This is
not coercive upon anyone. The coercive sense of will arose from mistaken
self-definition that then perpetuates itself by persisting the
assertion of out-of-true as its foundation. A foundation that depends on
being hidden to seem to be a foundation.
How you read the story
is up to you - but you can only meet that which you are willing to be
the vibration of. Truth is not killed - but framed out of sight by
insistence upon a sacrificial worship of guilt as the guarantee of
power.
No matter how complex a deeply defended lie is - it is no
more true than a fib. What you invest in and want to be true is the
determiner of how readily an error can be corrected - and of course this
is a matter of who you define and accept yourself to be - moment - by
moment - by moment.
But if you recognize that what is - Is beyond
definition - excepting as an extension of the freedom to create - then
there is a basis from which to notice and align self-defining idea to
the true of you.
Otherwise hidden definitions run old conditioning that believes the true of You is unacceptable.

Why is there something rather than nothing?
This the title of an IAI debate
In a sense the question is meaningless because it is saying why - or to what purpose or for what reason, Existence? - without taking account that a purpose is already in motion within which the capacity to ask such a question is itself an answer - but not in the terms of the framing of the question but to the purpose operating beneath or behind the presumptions and self-definitions of the questioner.
However, there are fruits or consequence to every thought accepted and given focus, and one can readily see that our current experience is selected from infinite possibilities and such choices are either spontaneous or seemingly conditioned. "Go forth and multiply" can be said of what you think, what you attract and invest in and what fruits you bring forth. It is the extension of Life in purpose of 'Know Thyself', yet in our human consciousness we largely tend to identify or try to identify with what we are NOT. In trying to be what we are not we forget the wholeness of unified expression that we are. Fearful and guilt-ridden self definition operate such forgetting - within which truth is denied by assertions of self-judgement believed and reacted to as true. Within this confusion of identity the feared truth drives a search for truths that protect or empower the limiting of fear. These operate to redefine and limit the mind so as to seem to be an independent authoritative will or power in one's own right - but beset by threat, adversity and opposition.
Anyway - that preamble was not in my comment on the page but the following is:
THAT anything exists.THAT anything Is - is the most primary Fact that remains TRUE regardless of what it is defined or imagined or believed to be.
That Awareness OF THAT anything Is - is integral to all and every experience of all or any definition, imagination or belief. And the nature of awareness itself is One in All and All are in the One.
Whatever definition, imagination or belief is extended or accepted and acted out from as true of you will be the measure of what you get back. This is always true, but can seem not to be true within the belief that you can get or become more as a result of making someone else less. It is this idea of segregative division that estranges humanity in general from the Communion implicit in the first two truths above.
To know your own unified purpose is joy - which restores the Communion within the creative expression of the gift of Existence.
Everything changes - EXCEPT the first three truths which are simply the nature and function of Mind - within which is all reflected idea known; experienced, shared and forever unfolding anew.
This is another way of saying:
'there is no God but God'.
God is All in All.
As you sow, so shall you reap,
And God Moved upon the 'Waters'
But the idea 'God' has come to mean separate from your any moment - and especially you, or coercive upon 'His' Creation rather that One with, and removed from and irrelevant to Creation (The extension and sharing of the Gift of Existence), which is to such thinking a material objective INDEPENDENT existence. BUT never has a moment of such ever been discovered or known in any way whatsoever - because it can only be known within a consciousness of such structural definitional beliefs as to be experienced in such terms.
The extending of the definitional belief of an INDEPENDENT existence - is reflected in a world of seemingly INDEPENDENT things. Seeking truth or completion or wholeness in a world of ever changing things is looking in the only place where it is not Obvious.
I write to extend what resonates true of me - and yet recognize truth is beyond all definition - and yet a less and less filtered and distortive lens affords a clearer recognition. The mind-layer we tend call consciousness is a device within a larger Consciousness. It does not control or contain the whole but it can serve as a channel through which Consciousness knows itself in the extension and reflection of truly shared experience.

The real Jesus?
Christians who ignore the real Jesus
The real Jesus?
The Jesus that you make reflects yourself as you choose to be.
If like Jesus you choose to only be as God is Being You - then you will put aside the persona and embrace the whole - which extends through you as your genuine presence and touches others in recognition and embrace of worth.
The moneylenders in the template are not personages to hate. The illustration was not a political act but a profound teaching demonstration of one's own device in consciousness working in secret that interjects itself into the currency of true appreciation and exchange so as to usurp it to a private agenda.
Jesus 'politics' are to give witness to truth. Issues of social organization are a matter of honest willingness for communication - but such communication is denied while the template is 'defiled'. Look therefore within THIS moment of your living to see the self-definitions that are giving rise to your perception and experience - for you are not created BY your experience though you can choose to believe this if you would prefer it to your Creator - Who is with you even now or you would not Be.
The lie and the father of the lie is to be identified WITHIN and put behind you. That there are reflections and symbols of this in the world is to serve your uncovering and owning of your OWN. THIS you CAN repent of immediately ONCE you recognize it.
Who knows not what he does is poor in Spirit - but is no less the inheritor of the Kingdom because one cannot truly disinherit truth. But on can attempt to assert and defend a partiality as if it were whole - at the expense of appreciation of wholeness.
The relevance and resonance to your need is the ears and eyes you have. If you have no need of truth but to use its form to fuel or mask a private agenda, then you will have your experience and be found wanting. There IS no peace in conflict. Be vigilant against the illusion of power. God is not needing praise or belief - but while you withhold your blessing, you will feel deprived. God is the love that needs nothing but to share itself. Creation is an infinitely rich expression of sharing - seen as a wholeness of All in All. The world of perception is a structure of belief - nothing more - but not less. No one lacks faith - but what is it invested in?
The real You is the point, and if Jesus, in any degree or aspect of what that can mean to you, serves the living sharing appreciation of Life's Blessing - then be grateful for the synchronicity and be not embarrassed or inhibited in love's presence as your own - strange as that may seem to a mind conditioned to judgement, coercion, fear and guilt. Conditioning can be recognized and changed by a shift of perspective.
Jesus is the Idea of you embodied, for you to recognize and remember your Father - your Source and Foundation. But only as you are freely willing to accept. God is not coercive upon Creation and THAT is something Jesus embodies as a wayshower - not an idol. Nothing I write here has any authority over the free willing discernment of YOUR heart's choosing. Nothing anyone says or does has such authority - unless your word establishes it so. Why give power and worthship unto idols when you Are the Beloved Son in whom Creation Itself delights? To make idol of Jesus is to deny him in yourself while professing him through a mask darkly.

Love's peace or love in pieces?
The two commandments made famous by Jesus essentially unify love of God, love of another AND love of self.
I sometimes think of this as like a three legged stool - though I just had another image of the stool as love of self, other and world as the 'stool,' and love of truth - (God-Recognizing) - being the purpose that the stool serves.
(That God-Love-Being knows itself through extension) - and sees that it is Good/God.
But in truth the God you cant see, is the same as the other and world unrecognised is the same as the one's self made a stranger.
That's why there is no communication between the usurping 'self' concept or image and anything true.
It is literally a self-blinding mechanism that 'loves' to divide and rule - in place of an indivisibility of which true individuality is an extension.
Waking up to that we 'love' to hate and fear to love is a basis from which a choice owned can be dis-owned, repented of, put behind us.
The seeming self-love of an elitist self-specialness is a love of the dead concept, symbol or idol; of taking an 'image' or model of truth as IF it is living truth Itself - thus usurping our original nature.
The imposition of a God that 'Lords it over' its creation is the 'Fall' or separation of a split off mind. It is an identification with coercion in place of true willing.
The idea of love has been adulterated and devalued by equating and confusing it with a coercive power - as if love is something we DO, of our own power - because the idea of the Fall is that we are 'of our own power'.
One can say "I love you" and one can mimic or attempt the forms of (what is currently defined and accepted as) loving behaviour, but that does not make it so. The human 'failure to love' is simply the result of persisting in a futility - like painting the roses red. However, 'failure' can be woven into the lure of 'becoming valid' - by accepting a version of separation that seems hopeful and less obviously hateful - with a presentation of good intention.
But true worth is not dependent on works nor can it be disqualified by works - although attachment to such a judgement will blind one to true worth regardless. True worth is innate to one's being or existence but covered over by filters and distortions of a 'judge presumed to interject division and assert will, instead of discerning a communication within unified being as a unique and integral facet of such Infinite Reflection.
So while there is no communication between the false and the true there is an embrace of both, because they are both in our mind - and therefore in our perception of our world.
To love is our original Nature - but choosing to focus in the idea of a 'different and oppositional' nature is the prodigal error. The willingness to be a servant in my Father's House is met by the Father's Embrace - who restores 'Sonship' - not to a self-specialness of self defined assertion, but TO and AS the appreciation of one's brother as oneself in God.

The truth is in the pudding
The desire to know the truth through the thinking mind is to look to the only place where truth is obscured.
Because you Already know the truth, you can open to the truth through reading or hearing.
"To those who hath, more shall be given".
But to those who have not yet accepted their own knowing, in the wholeness of their being - even that which they believe they hath shall be taken away.
Is love coercive?
No.
Is love revealing Itself in the way and the manner of its communications?
Yes.
The truth is in the pudding.
The definitions of thinking are fixing devices that self-validated the mind of the user.
But the use of such a mind by our Holy Spirit, allows an unfixing or loosening of the blocks to the flowing and extension of a trust in our being of life.
In such trust extending - you already feel and are the love that knows and is - and in the moment all things are added you - because they are already one with you - who abide at rest in oneness through your Holy Spirit.
The tension of the attempt to understand is exactly the tension of the attempt to maintain the sense of self apart - and then proceed from such a basis - as if to add to this 'self' and make it real or valid or successful or acceptable. To notice the tension is already to smile in release!
A willingness and desire for understanding, surrenders its 'knowing' and stands under that which Knows. Thus releasing the conditions that filter all outcomes on your own terms - and accepting the silent knowing of your own heart. This may also have association with thought and image - but these will but now reflect what is already moving, already true and already alive - as you. And will be freeing of the burden and tyranny of guilt.
The mind of command and control, of grasping and defining, of holding a will your own that judges and rejects, divides and rules - is an insidious habit, that creeps in un noticed and steals Heaven from your heart without you even noticing you are usurped.
How can this be?
Because what you actively want - becomes the foundation of your mind and experience - and when you believe or assert or accept that you WANT to see something YOUR way - then you are listening to that voice believing it is still part of the Living Universe.
Yet as you grow your capacity to trust-through the sense of self-defined limits and open to the joy and beauty and peace of being - you will also grow in the capacity to discern directly - and not conceal, disguise or defend against - the dissonance that is always felt in the lack of wholeness of a coercive will. It will seem to condemn you - but that is looking at guilt and fear - with guilt and fear. Forgiveness resists not evil - but looks directly upon its presentation in order to release the fixation of guilt. To own and to immediately repent of evil thoughts that can not really be hidden, overcome or escaped, but CAN be released upwards - is to let them pass away unwanted and in passing, reveal the Light that is your truth, your whole truth - and nothing but the truth.
In gratitude, in the song and harmony of the light of your being - do what you will - because your will is at rest in one will. In gratitude and innocence of being is this your natural inheritance.
Yet let one stab of interference seem to cause you to put your peace aside while you deal with 'the intruder' - and you are 'back in the mode of managing reality all by yourself' - and the impulse of wilful self authority - will not be laughed away and forgotten before it is even active - but will rule with your worshipful obeisance.
And so it is, that a story is shared. There is no truth in any of it, but through the willingness to share. All that knows truth is itself True - and no life could ever leave the Life that it is.
Yet in the world, is the play of the mind in many, that seems to see and seek our love as if outside us - in the world of ever changing appearances. Is this not a most amazing capacity of experience? But is it our heart's desire to keep it so?
Giving all things to God is but the releasing to God of all that was playfully presumed our own - and thus 'taken away' only to then be taken seriously in error.
So in desire for truth and freedom we say, "Take this cup away from me - as it be Your will and not mine".
It is not just the aspects of mind of which we are ashamed or feel threatened in, that we release - but the mind that fixes pleasure and joy in the world - for the world that we make, stands in place of the world that God's Holy Spirit replaces.
"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal".
The simplest way to explain how it could be - in practical human words - that the mind of man gives way to the Mind of God; is to desist from your own thinking. Not by act of will - but in response to the Call or Movement of your own being - that rises in your awareness when you pause and consider in willingness to receive and be inspired in your heart and mind as one.

Fear of Life

This is writing that came from reading the essay at the above link. It simply offers into a thread of conversation.
Fear of life seems to be autonomous or automatic, and expresses itself as a polarised experience in which the world - or external conditions, are felt to be imposed or to impose themselves upon a focal point of awareness that contracts upon itself as an inwardness of thought and withdrawal from full and free relatedness.
The identification of self with the inward thinking mind becomes a foundation from which the mind looks out, and an identification that calls on the power of mind to justify, validate and defend. Yet what is asserted, maintained and defended as self is the very nature of fear of life, but expressed outwardly in attempt to avoid the undoing of the sense of self definition that arises naturally in a true relatedness. For life is not as the mind of definition would have and hold. It is already here and it is awareness, knows feeling, and shares or communicates presence universally or without limit - in edgeless wholeness.
The mind of human has a cultural sense of the prior reality as Soul or Spirit, but in the attempt to use the pathways of remembering as the extension of its own seeming power to become a something in its own right, it trades in a living sense of idea felt in the peace of the heart, for a dry concept - with magical associations in the continued wish for a special sense of self-becoming.
Fear of life is on surface identified with external threat, and strategies are developed to overcome or mitigate or manage the threat so as to regain or attain a sense of order and stability in which to pursue self interest without opposition. In other words there is the desire to win, to prevail, or to triumph, and this will is a demanding and accepting only its own way.
The assertion of self will is the expression of opposition and it meets opposition. This experience will become intolerable and the mind will develop strategies of dissociation in order to manipulate situations that cannot be won outright. In other words, we develop a mask, a persona, a virtual self that itself is a proxy or extension of a sense of self founded in polarised or split identification.
The play of the mind in virtualisation is experienced as real but it is an overlay of imagination upon and within Mind or Life itself. The wish and presumption of independence of self is itself the single most blinding condition to the conscious appreciation of, and participation in - and as - Unified Life.
The currency of support for the separate self sense is definition or judgement, which is always an act of exclusion from Living Presence. Image, symbol, concept and story, have fleshed out a time and space distraction amidst and in place of, the timeless nature of being.
When the desire for the experience of distraction wears thin, the desire to know and love reality as it is awakens or stirs as the truth of you, and the mind is led back to a true understanding and acceptance in which it releases or forgives what it believed it had done and become and accepts in its place the true foundation of all being.
The world ceases to be used as a playground for self experience in which to prevail and becomes the opportunity to remember truth and share the love that moves as the nature of being in a true freedom or spontaneity. That the old habit remains is beside the point because the purpose has changed. The nature of the experience of Being has been talked of in terms of love, peace, joy and creative freedom and these can point the way, but the experience-hungry mentality of a sense of self lack cannot see or have anything directly to do with reality excepting that even an imaginary mind is directly is wholly dependant on reality to even seem to be real.
The honesty of not knowing coincides with the release of surface certainties and allows the rising of depth to know itself from its own nature and being - instead of the assertions and demands of form based meaning. To thought this could seem fearful - as if the depth is an otherness that takes one over, but in practice it is the shedding of fear and the allowing of embrace. And in terms of the world and its self, a fresh appreciation extends as a step. The step is not a new definition to use in handling the world, the step is a step in undoing the mind that believes its experience in the world is its true life. For the transcendence of experience is the release of the fearful and glamourous adventure of limitation and suffering for a light and presence of being in which all things are made new - that is to say a timeless revelation that neither comes or goes of which nothing can be said - for the attempt to say is but the activity of a mind in story; a wish, a self defining usurpation of an always already perfect communication.
When we find but our thoughts we have simply not uncovered the willingness to let ourselves in, but the willingness to let our thought be seen as it is rather than as it thinks is the growing of the willingness to accept truth as it is, and be free of suggestions and associations which colour, cloud and confuse, whereby the truth of love is forgot.
This is writing that came from reading the essay at the above link. It simply offers into a thread of conversation.
Fear of life seems to be autonomous or automatic, and expresses itself as a polarised experience in which the world - or external conditions, are felt to be imposed or to impose themselves upon a focal point of awareness that contracts upon itself as an inwardness of thought and withdrawal from full and free relatedness.
The identification of self with the inward thinking mind becomes a foundation from which the mind looks out, and an identification that calls on the power of mind to justify, validate and defend. Yet what is asserted, maintained and defended as self is the very nature of fear of life, but expressed outwardly in attempt to avoid the undoing of the sense of self definition that arises naturally in a true relatedness. For life is not as the mind of definition would have and hold. It is already here and it is awareness, knows feeling, and shares or communicates presence universally or without limit - in edgeless wholeness.
The mind of human has a cultural sense of the prior reality as Soul or Spirit, but in the attempt to use the pathways of remembering as the extension of its own seeming power to become a something in its own right, it trades in a living sense of idea felt in the peace of the heart, for a dry concept - with magical associations in the continued wish for a special sense of self-becoming.
Fear of life is on surface identified with external threat, and strategies are developed to overcome or mitigate or manage the threat so as to regain or attain a sense of order and stability in which to pursue self interest without opposition. In other words there is the desire to win, to prevail, or to triumph, and this will is a demanding and accepting only its own way.
The assertion of self will is the expression of opposition and it meets opposition. This experience will become intolerable and the mind will develop strategies of dissociation in order to manipulate situations that cannot be won outright. In other words, we develop a mask, a persona, a virtual self that itself is a proxy or extension of a sense of self founded in polarised or split identification.
The play of the mind in virtualisation is experienced as real but it is an overlay of imagination upon and within Mind or Life itself. The wish and presumption of independence of self is itself the single most blinding condition to the conscious appreciation of, and participation in - and as - Unified Life.
The currency of support for the separate self sense is definition or judgement, which is always an act of exclusion from Living Presence. Image, symbol, concept and story, have fleshed out a time and space distraction amidst and in place of, the timeless nature of being.
When the desire for the experience of distraction wears thin, the desire to know and love reality as it is awakens or stirs as the truth of you, and the mind is led back to a true understanding and acceptance in which it releases or forgives what it believed it had done and become and accepts in its place the true foundation of all being.
The world ceases to be used as a playground for self experience in which to prevail and becomes the opportunity to remember truth and share the love that moves as the nature of being in a true freedom or spontaneity. That the old habit remains is beside the point because the purpose has changed. Why would any or every thing serve the highest good?
Because such is the desire in your heart.
How might it serve the Good?

The mind in form is always trying to make sense of God Reality in its own terms. Which is experienced as if we are getting a handle on life and are validated by our 'understanding'.
While this attempted self-stance is going on - we have the opportunity to wake to it - and therefore from it. It can be subtle- but it is always the allegiance to image and thought and form in place of Living Love.
Just because we call something 'God', 'Guidance', 'love', 'Christ', 'reality', 'truth' - does not in any way make it so. Prayer is abiding in the heart's intimacy. If this is not yet your safety and your love restored - then forgiveness of yourself is called for immediately.Give only as you would receive.
It is through an act of self exclusion - judgement - whereby love seems to forget its nature and suffers its own division as both 'killed and killer' - and then projects these roles outside itself to mitigate pain.
But thoughts leave not the mind that thinks them. To the ego - this truth seems damnation - yet to the Divine awareness that is your Being's light - it is the realisation of what you are and where you are and that you are.
The Holy Spirit teaches awakening through whatever experiences ignorance sets up - and works with every willingness offered and allowed.
If we are in a mood of resistance - we will generate experience to justify our stance. If we do not value and cultivate our desire and receptivity for truth we densify illusion and at some point realize this is not truly our desire - but costs us all that we truly desire.
Obedience is naturally due to our true desire - freely, willingly and gladly - and not as a sacrificial bargain struck in the dark with some god who saves dark ones to remain safely in the dark.
Being true to truth is the essential basis for trust and sanity.
Exclusion arises from withholding love. You are love.

Love and pretence
Love - in its truth - is prior to the activity of interpretation that the mind overlays - or intervenes with. This is to say it is deeper and closer to you than you are to your self in thought or imagination.
A tangible intimacy that is not merely thinking or emotional history or physical desire, 'touches' or registers in our awareness, and is an integrative or unifying experience of connectedness and communion - with person, place, or indeed with one's sense of experience itself.
Rather than being the result of seeking to 'get' an experience that is presumed desirable - it is the awakening to the felt nature and condition of life or relationship itself.
The mechanical habits of a mind that sees itself as having special and separative interests may only be suspended an instant before the glimpse is effectively cut off with doubting thought, emotional vacillation - and all the characteristics of the thinking based identity that sees a need for control as its protection and necessity - and trust as something to bargain with.
The desire to possess experience 'for oneself' is a fundamental human error. It grew from a curiosity of capacities of thought, but by itself it is essentially a private experience that can not truly satisfy - for it's 'love' is conditional and turns to betrayal, hate or loss - the instant that conditions are no longer perceived as providing justification for love. Such a love cannot be trusted. Such human love is always ambivalent there is no peace it it - because of what lies underneath its seeming.
Our concept of love is likely to be coloured by the fantasies and demands for external events or persons who fill or provide the experience of what we believe we lack; meaning, protection, adventure, importance, validity, acceptability, purpose and etc. As long as we accept and cultivate a sense of ourselves as lacking or unwhole in our essential being, we are bound to seek without for the 'answer' to a sense of life in dilemma - and we can become expert in assuming such an identity and believing it can achieve the promise of life that its seeks, even when any real hope of such an abiding alignment of conditions is eroded leaving a desperate and loveless existence that has yet to be presented as workable and made tolerable by whatever can be brought into play.
Yet what love actually is, is still active but largely unrecognized - even amidst the acting out of a loveless sense of necessity - for its nature is the core or essence or be-ing upon which the drama of the self is played out as if it were as if it presents itself - to itself and others. Love's awakening is a shift from identification with self in story to identity at rest in love. The process of such a shift is both sudden and gradual in that the revelation of what was always true has no degree, yet the acceptance and integration of such truth into a mind that has become identified with its story is itself a step by step process of loosening and releasing of that which is revealed to be both false or unfounded, and destructive - or undermining - to the peace in which awareness can operate directly; as one's essential sanity.
The intelligence of love was not lost in pursuit of loveless goals - but merely hidden while their purpose is actively engaged. As the intent and desire to impose upon reality loosens, the innate intelligence or guidance of love rises - and uses the contents of the mind to guide the mind to discover 'the way Home'. Initially this is inevitably associated with specific and favourable conditions and these are to be embraced with joy - but the mind is led through its willingness to look again on its underlying presumption, belief and intent - in which it has become confused with its own story and 'victim' to its own thought.
To awaken to your own loving is not to be validated in any seeming capacity to love in your own right - but to recognise, accept and welcome the love that Is Moving ... in you - as you - through you - and to you. It is not added to you - yet in acceptance of what is - as it is - are all things shown in a true light.
The condition in which love is unrecognised is one of a desire and identification for opposition or conflict - for in love truly there is none. Yet there is the clear capacity to see the judgements, definitions, roles and meanings that such a story weaves - exactly as it is - and therefore not enter into or identify with it.
To refuse or not employ the desire to judge reality, releases the filters and distortions of a past made in error - and allows a truly creative present to be itself.
Habits held long and dear do not disappear immediately even if they are realised to be unwanted. Defences developed amidst great fear as a temporary solutions to unbearable experience do not cease to be triggered - and to trigger the old perspective. But in love's acceptance and embrace it is clear that you are neither victim or victimizer - nor a neutrality arbiting from a presumed fence of un-involvement. The way of love is very different from the way of doing, because the doings that are love's expression arise naturally from a willingness to be still of self and listen, and express a willingness for life that is without coercive intent; of a wellspring shared in common,. For the Source of life is not separated from its expression. Nor are the expressions of life, fragmented parts of a meaningless source.
Love is the condition in which the problem as fear defined it, no longer exists, but has become the opportunity for love to be remembered and therefore expressed or shared.
Our denial of the flow and expression of our innate feeling being - of our Soul - is our true loss. Nothing in this world can substitute for it - but the search for love outside ourselves only re-enacts the basis whereby we suffer the belief we have been deprived and denied by another will than our own.
Yet everything in the world - rightly seen - becomes a means for awakening and restoring sanity - but not on the basis of privately maintained judgements arising within a privately maintained independence from love.
Be still of thinking and extend trust beyond the fences you thought to keep you safe alone.

Thought for the salvation of Love's Son
If you can see the ego writ large in the world of man - then maybe you are ready to let go of it being out there - or in your head.
But rather to see it in one mind.
What we choose to validate as experience - (of what we receive as thought and perception) - and what we thus choose to share into one mind - is a responsibility that cannot be escaped. Any more than Mind can be escaped.
The attempt to escape is expressed as 'the world and self' that we presume and trade, in separated (escaped) mode.
In true vision there can be nothing we would WANT to escape.
The mind of sin and guilt, is attack. The attack of mind on itself is excruciating - and expresses as every kind of pain of suffering, loss of love, and limitation through fear.
But mind cannot attack itself without first believing itself separate and in a head in a body in a time and place. Nor could it believe this without the wish to believe itself so.
If your thinking says - "well its all a game then!" - that may be so - BUT - one still suffers within the rules that have set up the game UNTIL the game is truly released. So the thought "it's all a game", is not the realisation - but is simply playing the same game some more.
Nothing can be released unless it is first recognised as being active. Nor can an act of self-will be released by an act of self-will.
To know again the mind of sin that you would keep hidden - so as to be undone of it - requires honesty and trust.
Love of truth has no ulterior motive or agenda. It does not seek to dissociate and displace - or get rid of itself. Love of truth rejoices in being one with - and this automatically extends because - whatever is the basis of your sense of value is the foundation of all that is seen.
In the mind of sin is a false Cause accepted and it is the cause of Fatherlessness or Sourcelessness. To see anything or anyone in such a false 'light' is to overlook the Wholeness that Gives all the Meaning that is present.
All that is needful to reverse the shift into the false is to give priority to the true - in the calm recognition that truth is not made or defined or analyzed into existence - but is one with and expresses through real relationship.
Cherish real relationships in any and every moment of noticing. Awareness grows as it is acknowledged.
The mind of war is literally trying to hide and kill itself; both.
Our own part in such an un-sane thought is undone in our accepting love in place of fear; awareness in place of thinking and perception.
Whatever the script of the 'world', it is interfaced and part of our own contribution.
So if a brother demands you masked - then he will mask you - for his will is done.
But if you awaken from the masks and roles of the script - you can let love use it as it will.
"Thy Will Be done".
This is the releasing of self-will for the grace and beauty and innocence of truth.
Jesus didn't suffer for us - but witnesses to life eternal - even from amidst the 'experience of suffering' - where we even so may wake to realise Truth and not be dictated by ignorance.
Focus only on suffering enough to break the spell of hiding. Then look beyond to the Light - where new vision is offered BECAUSE you released the old.
I wrote this in trust to convey some sketch or sense of a dimension to which the world is blind - and wilfully so. Yet you who read here are not the world - but are stirred and quickened in love.

If it is of value to me - let it change me
Someone said: “Does awakening happen when God decides?”
Any idea that considers when or how enlightenment might happen, is part of a mind that believes it is not already happenning. So even as it Is - it will be passed by unnoticed while we think some more.
The conviction and reaslisation that it Is happening now is an altogether different basis from which to live.
"If it is of value to me - let it change me". (Is this God’s decision manifesting in the heart?)
I have long ago noticed that a love such as has started movements of cultural renewal, community inspired projects or inspired endeavour, teachings and exemplary lives - is the same love as is frequently opened at special events, workshops or gatherings and relationships.
But it is as if a consumer mentality has become able to dip in - and out - of love so as to get a recharge for an otherwise routinely compromised existence. For those love truth - the valuing of truth wins out over the 'freedom' to have different compartment lives to switch between - and a crisis ripens in which they can no longer function or tolerate their lovelessness. So they are obliged to separate from that within their own minds which separates them from love - without being able to 'manage'or control the change that then come from this to their relationships so as to maintain a ‘hidey hole’.
These ones now have a direct and ongoing need and capacity for present innate guidance and inspiration - not to console or recharge their batteries or their egos - but to navigate and bypass the mind of fear and guilt - which is no longer kept as a pet in a hideyhole - and so is increasingly exposed in oneself amidst the everyday of life.
These ones discover their need is to give only as they would, in their Right Minds, receive - and not to survive and protect their 'life' all by themselves. And so they shift from the mind of getter - by the practice of giving as they would receive. True giving is not of our own self - but of the selflessness or ‘Self’ of love. And true receiving is not a filtering of data for the extraction of a desired part to fulfil a predefined desire. It is the act and extension of trust in an entirely present sense.
So, Awakening, Love, Enlightenment, is never going to happen, to the one who commits to thinking themselves to be as they think they are. And if nonetheless light does awaken spontaneously - it will be unrecognized by all but the seed of truth in silence within - which then moves in secret within the mind of the dreamer as it grows a different basis from which to live.
The good news is that it is never true that we Are that which we ‘think we are’ - and no matter how frightening that may seem to the ego (the mind identified with image and form) - it is the stirring in the heart of deepest gratitude and relief to Life.
Awakening is active in every Instant of Truth.
Any idea that considers when or how enlightenment might happen, is part of a mind that believes it is not already happenning. So even as it Is - it will be passed by unnoticed while we think some more.
The conviction and reaslisation that it Is happening now is an altogether different basis from which to live.
"If it is of value to me - let it change me". (Is this God’s decision manifesting in the heart?)
I have long ago noticed that a love such as has started movements of cultural renewal, community inspired projects or inspired endeavour, teachings and exemplary lives - is the same love as is frequently opened at special events, workshops or gatherings and relationships.
But it is as if a consumer mentality has become able to dip in - and out - of love so as to get a recharge for an otherwise routinely compromised existence. For those love truth - the valuing of truth wins out over the 'freedom' to have different compartment lives to switch between - and a crisis ripens in which they can no longer function or tolerate their lovelessness. So they are obliged to separate from that within their own minds which separates them from love - without being able to 'manage'or control the change that then come from this to their relationships so as to maintain a ‘hidey hole’.
These ones now have a direct and ongoing need and capacity for present innate guidance and inspiration - not to console or recharge their batteries or their egos - but to navigate and bypass the mind of fear and guilt - which is no longer kept as a pet in a hideyhole - and so is increasingly exposed in oneself amidst the everyday of life.
These ones discover their need is to give only as they would, in their Right Minds, receive - and not to survive and protect their 'life' all by themselves. And so they shift from the mind of getter - by the practice of giving as they would receive. True giving is not of our own self - but of the selflessness or ‘Self’ of love. And true receiving is not a filtering of data for the extraction of a desired part to fulfil a predefined desire. It is the act and extension of trust in an entirely present sense.
So, Awakening, Love, Enlightenment, is never going to happen, to the one who commits to thinking themselves to be as they think they are. And if nonetheless light does awaken spontaneously - it will be unrecognized by all but the seed of truth in silence within - which then moves in secret within the mind of the dreamer as it grows a different basis from which to live.
