Beyond Reality - The Limits of Knowing

I felt a desire to essay something on 'reality'. Here it is:
At the root of any apparent conflict is a definition out of true.
If
the term reality is accorded to experience - then any and all
experience on any kind of any 'level' is a facet of all that reality can
be experienced as.
But in order to HAVE an experience, there has to be a definition of oneself in relation to 'something'.
The
native experience of anything conceivable or imaginable within
awareness, is not in any moment, way, shape or form, different or
separate FROM the awareness OF.
Un-separate or unified experience
is therefore pure or open or innocent experience prior to any action of
self-other differentiation, desire or identification that may arise as
mental overlay or lens of a personal sense of meanings upon the pure
creation that is the rested nature of Mind-Reflection.
However,
crystalizing within the expereince of Otherness or separation - gives
rise to the sense of a world outside what is now being defined and
accepted and therefore experienced as over and against oneself.
For
every action is equal and opposite reaction in Consciousness, but the
assertion of attempt to coerce or control what is now defined as 'other'
self or otherness of world, reflects back - as every Idea in
consciousness reflects back.
The mind in reaction conditions
itself by its experience as a mapping and meaning structure or model of
reality that substitutes for the direct and spontaneous knowing of
unified experience, apparently usurping functions in consciousness to a
personal achievement, of discovery, and manipulation or control.
The
losing of conscious awarenes of integral being or embrace within
unified awareness is the shadow cost of the seeming capacity of
independent authorative will, that believes it operates privately upon
life as if from a point outside it. And becomes the basis for the fear
of losing its private sense of life or self and the guilt of living at
the cost of a greater wholeness of shared communication and reflection.
Fear
and guilt effectively lock the mind into concrete set patterns of
defence that operates in such a way as to displace and dissociate the
now split and intolerably conflicted consciousness of identity at war
within itself.
The contraction of fear and the denial of
awareness and communication of guilt render a frozen consciousness in
which eveything is predicated upon the denial of consciousness excepting
the trickle of a personal sense of control amidst the crystalisation of
limitation in reaction, which is fear directed to look away from the
conflict within by projecting its conflict upon the outer of the body,
others, the world, and onto Life Itself or God as a sense of a
rejecting, disconnecting, abandoning or and unsupporting absence. Which
in turn 'justifies' angry and assertive or self-righteous defiance as
well as attempts to validate or atone or regain a sense of meaning that
such identity/experience of Life no longer shares.
The assertion
of a separative idea or intent inherently shuts off communication and
support and limits or depletes even as it seems to rise to become a
power unto itself. The disntegration of a falsely identified self can
only give way to the true, but while framed in the paradign of
self-assertive power, will not be recognized, or accepted, but seem to
be the proof of power over life in death.
Reintegration of
seemingly split mind or self to Consciousness Itself is a matter of
willingness to receive as a result of not identifying in reaction of
past conditioning.
What may seem to be loss of self to a serving of
the whole is in fact a willingess to receive the will of the whole as it
resonates and is relevant to the reintegrating and innately joyful or
insired purpose that is within the communioned sense of shared
existence.
All abilities developed within the mind within its
adaption to a time-space continuity of unfolding now serve a different
foundation than that of a personal survival amidst fear and guilt
defined conditioning. Giving forth a whole or inspiring quality of being
within the forms of relations in the world draws forth a different
response. Despite all appearances to the contrary, the consciousness
itself is transformed via the re-exposure of denied fear and guilt that
in willingness, are released and replaced with more fluid and open
definitional structure of belief until the flow of creative spontanaity
is balanced as a flow of relational being within the experience of
consciousness within Consciousness. Some differentiation is part of
remaining in the physical focus, but the expansion of that focus as fear
is released and joy embrace reveals ever more of a true reflection of
the reality of who it is you as this unique expression, have in effect
chosen or accepted to be.
The reality of all that is, is infinite
in all and every sense and not just in material/energetic dimension.
Mind is without limit of ANY kind and so what can be known is ONLY of
That and yet as a unique relation of the part and parts in the whole and
the whole in the part/s.
Arriving at the understanding that we
cannot understand reality or totality opens the way to understanding
what we need to understand, when we need to understand it relative to
the movement of being as it resonates and is relevant to the themes that
effect a facet of specific focus, within an All At Once or timeless and
Infinitely expanding totality, for although there is nothing OUTSIDE
existence into which to expand, the fundamental nature of Creation is
open or free BECAUSE there is no limiting factor of otherness and is
therefore free to create along any line of thought by extending through
Idea within itself.
Everything is Consciousness. Belief can align
to share or extend it or imagine itself differentiated. The only
'difference' to true is false, to awareness is forgetting, to life is
death. A false binary operates the foundation of what we define as a
mind-matter split. However the true-awareness-life exists in and of
itself, but the false-forgetting-death depends on choosing NOT to know
by identifying in the belief one knows in place of actual yielding to
the condition of knowing.
Withholding life is not survival, apart
from others, but it can be a framework of a particular kind of
experience in which to clearly know what you are NOT. This then is a
portal to Remembering the reality of what you ARE - which is beyond all
definition as is the reality of everything and everyone. Yet true
alignment or relation to the Infinite identifies you perfectly as
integrally one with and part of all that is.
Determining reality
operates the either/or mentality of self segregating assertion, One may
determine what one feels and believes to be and thus embrace that
experience of reality by so doing, and share that into Consciousness by
living it - but one does not establish reality for anyone else excepting
within one's own virtual personae of them. Mutual agreements seem to
determine reality and find the evidences that serve as validation. But
below the believed experience of self certainties is an Infinitely more
alive nature and condition that forever shifts and changes the very
consciousness with which one sets up such structures.
This is
Good News - although that which attempts to become comfortable within
its own determinations will not see it so. Life is ever anew and ever
renewing and this is also our experience of every moment of our
existence insofar as we do not take Life for granted or become too busy
managing fragmented complexity to notice and feel the wondrous.

When we deny our own Soul communication, it is usually self presented to our awareness as some kind of experience that denies or demands deprivation of us. Because if we were to see it as it is - we could not effect the denial.
This in effect uses others or the world to play a role in justifying a withheldness of self - to itself. The others and the world are not fundamentally involved or concerned with our hidden script - but in our interpersonal relations we soon communicate our demands in subtle ways, (that may never be openly stated), whereby we indicate that we need others to back off - or indeed to come forward - with specific kinds of behaviour - to serve our own private needs.
When we are getting wise to this way of hiding from ourself we can ‘see’ it in others - and if it pains us - it is because it speaks directly within us of our own pain - in which and by which we are locked - because we are frozen in our own communication. I am using the term communication here in its true wide sense of relatedness and involvement and participation - and not as a bunch of commentary or assertion or perceptions that seek validation.
We may let Life in - by trusting into a receptive stillness - but if we then do not abide in that and let it guide our be-ing - we switch back into non receptive assertion - and ‘lose it’.
“Losing it” has correlating experience on many levels - all of which are characterized by limitation, disconnection and isolation. In such lack of perspective, all kinds of thoughts and scenarios play out as an adventure in experience that is in turns; exciting, glamourous, threatening and meaningful as a sense of struggle towards a desired outcome. But its premise is false and it is at the expense of peace and appreciation of an unconflicted love. From such a truly restored and rested perspective we can see presently that it is not our true desire to initiate the activity of intention and thought that result in confusion and conflictedness.
The keynote that is Christ awakening is that there is a shift or recognition from a situation perceived outside me - into a direct intimacy that is me - yet not any sense of me defined and not with any sense of a self amidst an otherness or situation other to me. As long as the situation is seen and engaged as between others - there is strategy at work as to what is revealed and what is withheld. But in the awakened recognition of the heart - there is a Re-membering presently of one’s own inclusion in all that Be ing truly is - and THIS ‘Knows’ Itself perfectly - and so is beheld as a knowing that operates as a seamless guidance and communication. Yet even such a beholding is itself an expression of the Be ing. There is no separate part from which to know or judge anyone or anything - ever.
The mechanism of denial is heartless - because it is the mind acting as if outside the heart. To identify with such mind is to kill or deny or imprison the heart - and experience as if that were in fact so.
To let the Heart Be - and to let it Guide, is far from any emotional need or reaction to hurt - but is simply peace of wholeness. For the seeming heart is the attempt to salvage some love from the fragmented experience of a fearful and heartless identification.
The release of the hurtful is not in enacting scenarios of atonement. The release is in stopping everything and letting the Father in. The Movement that is the discernment of Life - speaks all things truly - because it is without ‘knowledge’. It is innocent of what we take as knowledge.
We may fear that if we let down our defences and be seen as we truly are - then we will surely be condemned because we are so sure that we ‘know’ we hold unworthy and hateful thoughts. Yet truth is that these are fundamentally retained in consciousness - even unconsciously - by attempt to deny and reject them - from an unjoined sense of self.
The force with which they are denied is the force they seem to have in insinuating or violating your consciousness. There is no ‘devil’ but that hating hatred and fearing fear obscures the mind from seeing truly. As the mind is relaxed - so the drama ceases to drive the show. Attention is freed from its objects and is restored to its Source. It is not something to work out - but an allowing of what truly works to dawn in our awareness.
To desire truth is to desire peace - for peace is the condition in which truth is clearly appreciated. Peace is the abandonment of ‘knowledge’, of search and of the exercise of wilful imagination. In its calm you can simply feel when to wait and when to extend your outstretched hand - and all that is needed is Given you - as it is called forth. This is not a state of attainment - but a freedom from the mind of attaining. The desire for a special self is not love and must be seen simply as it is - from a perspective that is free of its seeming allure - from a rested not-knowing that is in no danger of knowing anything! For It can never leave it Source!
In the release of ‘knowledge’, recognition beholds and ‘falls into’ That Which Lives all things. And that even so, the world of appearances arising is not actually modifying or fragmenting or limiting the un-knowable but untouchable Truth. God-Being All That Is You Are.

Seeing self-illusion opens the mind to truth
In any instant that any mind opens to and accepts truth - the force of identification with self illusion is weakened and the awakening is strengthened. I see this as going on in all ways and always - and through whatever agencies serve maximally. But truth has absolutely nothing to do with any conceptual or symbolic truths that we might associate with it and identify with.
As I recognise and accept that awakening is the most important 'work' or purpose to which I can bring to attention in active desire, I am brought to notice more and more of the ways in which I actively maintain the ego mentality - for apart from such allegiance from me, it has no life of its own. I also find these are 'shared' collusions and I practice not joining in the 'mind that limits' in the moment of awareness.
The form in which that takes does not ultimately matter. It may seem to be doing nothing. It may seem to be challenging accepted modes of behaviour and thought - and thus interpreted fearfully by that which identifies exclusively with form. All I know is that if I do not act in line with the guidance for truth - I lose the awareness and appreciation of communion - period.
This doesn't make me infallible in any way - it simply means I am exercising trust as a disciple of truth - and in willingness to learn. It is for each of us to listen in our heart - where we have a direct relationship with God that no one and nothing can ever substitute for.
The Second Coming is not only coming - it is coming through now. In a sense this is the inherent truth of every miracle and all the work of the Awakening since first the mind seemed to split from itself. But in a specific sense to our times is an urgency of the call to awaken - not merely to ideas and teachings and understandings - but to recognise in truth that we 'split' our mind to serve wishful thinking and then hide in darkness and confusion. This is the act by which we 'live' a seeming separate struggling existence.
The 'life' that the ego-sense dictates - is tragically pathetic - barely a trickle of Life allowed or shared.
Communication and trust are of the same root - for without trust communication is simply a battle of private wills - and without communication, trust remains a potential unmanifest and without tangibility.
When we think we know - we do not stop and listen. We can ride roughshod over the delicate first steps of the desire to know and be known - simply because we interpret through a sacrosanct set of understandings that we blindly presume true.
I have noticed this in myself many times - and see that spiritual blindness is part of the territory to be undone - just as is any other self-concept that substitutes for love's Presence Shared.
All things serve the purpose of awakening - if that is our active desire.
When it is accepted as our only desire, truth's awakening will be the simply obvious.
But the force and habit of identification with the ego is not of a kind that can be recognised and undone without Divine, Awakened, Help. For what seems obvious to the ego perspective is delusional - and for love's Teacher to find any welcome or attention free for awakening is the gift of love's acknowledgement that we give by receiving.
Giving and receiving is the way our true will IS done.
But when we seek to get or give to get - there is no real gift. Where nothing real is shared, unreality can seem to be anything - and shift at anytime. There is no basis for trust within the getting mind.
To open trust we must lay down or weapons and shields in desire for knowing truth.

Live from the Knowing
Dear Brother and Sister in Life, please share your knowing.
If you use thought or deed to clothe the knowing in terms that CAN be understood, then with the grace of true desire, will the meaning be shared and the thoughts themselves be but the messengers.
To listen, while leaning and trusting into sharing that which moves within, is to bring the forms of communication into the context of an actual relationship.
To know relationship is not a concept - nor mere think-based representation of 'a relationship' - but is love. We feel each other in living communication.
Salvation is a collaborative venture. Relating with each other risks into both the dance and the messiness of involvement. Perfect answers - at the level of form - can be used to justify the avoiding of relationship. That is not awakeng to truth.
The tendency to think instead of listen and feel - is the liability of a mind to remain disconnected from Mind - from its interrelatedness and thus from anything real.
To venture to live from the 'knowing' is a radical shift of identity. Instead of living as the problem - live as the answer. Not the answer that solves the problem - but the answer that is priorly and presently free of problem.
Leaning to walk takes practice - at first there can be stumbles and knocks - but because there is a consistent desire and motivation, walking becomes a natural accomplishment of one’s being. Living from trust is only to be discovered by practice. Others may not see or recognize - and can try to 'kindly' bring you back to the crab barrel. But learning to listen to the Voice and Perspective within, is made tangible and clear by persisting regardless of the liability to distraction and doubt.
Indeed the opportunity of temptation will serve to uncover one's own mind in error - so as can be corrected by listening to truth where before I thought I saw meaning in the meaningless.

The Life is First - without a second
This consideration arose from reading a discussion about the chicken and egg - not just as philosophical conundrum, but in terms of considering the perceptions and experiences of life as a process of becoming in terms of an apprehension of Life as the IS.
The dream is a matter of taking thoughts about the Life as real and letting them give rise to a sense of self that experiences them.
This is the Thoughtlessness of a self in image. For it must needs ignore direct reality to play out the drama of self.
Reality is Living Idea - but not an idea removed from something else or about something else.
And the Idea or Thought is infinite, unbounded and timeless.
The mind that wants its own thought - and uses its thought to determine reality - derives questions based on its acceptance of false premises, that assert the division and limitation of Eternal Being. They thus seek to trade definitions as acceptable currency - which is how the separation experience is upheld. For thoughts about reality that are not accepted currency are no longer valid - and a direct apprehension of reality rises to awareness where the distraction fails.
In taking no thought for (any) self, the Thought of God; The Life, is beheld - as it is.
It is not beheld from a mind separate from its object of attention - for such a self-based intent is not asserted or validated.
Thoughts about the Life can also serve to allow distractive thought to cease, allowing knowing to be revealed.
Knowing is never attained, and remains always and absolutely beyond editing, owning or any process of the thinking-mind.
It may seem that there is a you that knows - but that is the afterwork of the ego overlay; using truth to feed and maintain illusion. The mind that seems to get truth for itself is the mind that robs you of appreciating truth now. While the loot has lustre, the dragon sleeps in its cave in its dreams of glory upon an unshared treasure.
The willingness to know calls awakening's purpose into play - because it now learns to seek and recognise The Life as it is - and begins to release the thought that would make it as it is not. To such a willingness the dream becomes the sign of awakening, the voice of awakening and the reflection of awakening.
This seems to take time simply because time is taken from the Timeless and treated as if it were in fact time.
In other words, the mind engaged in dream wishes to continue dreaming. Your will is done.
The mind in dream is like a bounded egg state of self-thought reflection. The process of restoring awareness at rest as natural Mind expression, is like to the story of egg. It is opened and sprouts or grows forth, reflecting in form an intimacy of relationship whose signature is divine.
The growing of the desire for life in the embryo. The development of unseen guidance where structure grows within to give pathways for life. The breaking of the shell. The guidance and support of the Mother Father. The recognition of the Environment in Original Being. The release of the possession-mind in Living Love and the giving of allness as both seed and fruit of all that is to Another as Thyself. The nurturing and protecting of the children of love as the extension of love's giving. The recognition of the local in the universal. The discarding of the sense of local or self will in Intimacy beyond difference.
But the liability with mapping anything of The Life - is that map substitutes for The Life.

The dream is a matter of taking thoughts about the Life as real and letting them give rise to a sense of self that experiences them.
This is the Thoughtlessness of a self in image. For it must needs ignore direct reality to play out the drama of self.
Reality is Living Idea - but not an idea removed from something else or about something else.
And the Idea or Thought is infinite, unbounded and timeless.
The mind that wants its own thought - and uses its thought to determine reality - derives questions based on its acceptance of false premises, that assert the division and limitation of Eternal Being. They thus seek to trade definitions as acceptable currency - which is how the separation experience is upheld. For thoughts about reality that are not accepted currency are no longer valid - and a direct apprehension of reality rises to awareness where the distraction fails.
In taking no thought for (any) self, the Thought of God; The Life, is beheld - as it is.
It is not beheld from a mind separate from its object of attention - for such a self-based intent is not asserted or validated.
Thoughts about the Life can also serve to allow distractive thought to cease, allowing knowing to be revealed.
Knowing is never attained, and remains always and absolutely beyond editing, owning or any process of the thinking-mind.
It may seem that there is a you that knows - but that is the afterwork of the ego overlay; using truth to feed and maintain illusion. The mind that seems to get truth for itself is the mind that robs you of appreciating truth now. While the loot has lustre, the dragon sleeps in its cave in its dreams of glory upon an unshared treasure.
The willingness to know calls awakening's purpose into play - because it now learns to seek and recognise The Life as it is - and begins to release the thought that would make it as it is not. To such a willingness the dream becomes the sign of awakening, the voice of awakening and the reflection of awakening.
This seems to take time simply because time is taken from the Timeless and treated as if it were in fact time.
In other words, the mind engaged in dream wishes to continue dreaming. Your will is done.
The mind in dream is like a bounded egg state of self-thought reflection. The process of restoring awareness at rest as natural Mind expression, is like to the story of egg. It is opened and sprouts or grows forth, reflecting in form an intimacy of relationship whose signature is divine.
The growing of the desire for life in the embryo. The development of unseen guidance where structure grows within to give pathways for life. The breaking of the shell. The guidance and support of the Mother Father. The recognition of the Environment in Original Being. The release of the possession-mind in Living Love and the giving of allness as both seed and fruit of all that is to Another as Thyself. The nurturing and protecting of the children of love as the extension of love's giving. The recognition of the local in the universal. The discarding of the sense of local or self will in Intimacy beyond difference.
But the liability with mapping anything of The Life - is that map substitutes for The Life.
