I felt to join in with the idea being raised and then also to join with another commenter in points they raised. The article posits a narrative in terms of a conceptual inheritance that may serve those who resonate with that approach. I felt to offer something from within this moment to reach within the moment of the readers recognition - rather than via ideas of a sense of separate parts. To share in a consciousness perspective rather than reinforce ideas about consciousness as if it was an it.

The power to 'forget' is a facet of the differentiating and focusing that serves the Movement of Being "know thyself".
By believing you are what you are NOT and defending against awareness of 'what you Are', a mind or identity of a segregated existence is generated through which to experience All That Is, through a glass darkly - that is, through a lens of filter and distortion.
What you are NOT is essentially your image, concept or definition of yourself. Yet this for most is their predicate of identification.
First as one's thinking, and then as the conditions that are believed to support and protect and reinforce such thinking.

The personality based thinking operates as a control mentality - though it is a function within consciousness and not actually in charge. In some sense it is a complex of masks facing out and in, by which to assert and protect a fearful sense of self from exposure to its conflicted and fearful identity.

So the definition by which we experience ourselves separate ones in separate bodies in a Universe of separate things is not a fixed fact but a perspective within Consciousness.

Consciousness is Infinite and always in a sense Now - yet is an unfoldment or extension of Idea through which "God saw that it was Good". This quality of awareness and recognition aligns us with Source, where no amount of thinking will.

Where we are coming from will - in this world - seem to be as our thinking and beliefs and definitions suggest; from the past, from material processes of sperm and egg, from mythologically described levels of being that we may intuit or imagine, from cosmic explosion of random evolving process, from Something Outside this Universe that projected you into it - and slammed the door!

But none of these address where you are coming from Now. Where consciousness is arising from Now. Thinking operates a thought system, and everyone protects their thought system unless they accept a better alternative in which case there is simply the shift to operate through what works better, what feels clearer and truer.

No one can tell you or show you who you are or where your being comes from and is a direct witness to Existence of, but you can let it back into awareness through your willingness to reintegrate in Consciousness rather than attempt to force consciousness to fit the world as your thoughts, feelings and beliefs have defined it.

Experiencing the physical as if it were reality - period, is a surface or front end to a consciousness that also stirs within. This is not to say anything in particular is un-real - but that what you experience as your reality is directly reflecting your definitions of yourself - conscious and unconscious, and rather than condemn you, this restores you to your creative freedom, because what you are choosing out of true with yourself can be owned and a different choice embraced that is truly aligned or resonant with your CONSCIOUS choice of who and what you truly feel yourself to be. This often arrives through recognizing what you are NOT.
Your true being is tangibly radiant - for Being itself is Living Light and there is nothing else to be OF. The preoccupation with sin is a device of a private self-regard. A willingness to be wrong about yourself allows light in. Yet truly, Light has never left or you would not Be! Letting the light back into your conscious awareness reveals more of Who you are - along with All That Is.
Joy and freedom are not coercive upon you, but having discarded them for the attempt to be who you are NOT, for surviving and fitting into a 'loveless world', you now have to learn that you want them by choosing to act FROM them, until the choice for fear is cancelled out and your wholeness creates as choiceless choice - which is the opposite of the mechanism of fear's tyranny, being an Intimacy of Infinite embrace - that IS your natural state of being unconditionally loved. What is forgotten is not lost, but only misplaced. Where you look to find yourself IS up to You. When fears says Stop! Don't Look! You can call it to hush, for you are desiring truth now. Fear is transformable, transmutable - but NOT in its own terms of reference and not in a way you cant honestly and freely accept. Fear tells you something is out of true in your definitions of yourself in relation to a current situation. Hiding fears by pushing them down, is how to keep them and how to be in a sense sabotaged by them unconsciously. Honesty acknowledges a situation without coercively defining it or committing to such mentality. To NOT choose fear, is to pause and listen and feel for something that reaches to you that is tangibly of a peace or wholeness of being - no matter if it is a glimpse. It shifts.
You are NOT coming from fear - but what you truly are may be being experienced through a lens of fear. Recognizing your fear is the step to owning it and is a grace of noticing - for fear is blind, so YOU know by noticing, that you are the awareness or space in which noticing arises. One starts where one is at with what is to hand in whatever way serves to truly align in this very moment. There is no other moment, but the choice to delay puts off or discards your awakening by using this moment for something else.
Blessed are the poor in Spirit for though they know it not - or would not be poor in Spirit - theirs IS the Kingdom of Heaven.
This is what could be called a foot on the ladder. Blessing IS yours to share but you forgot. Trying to understand why and how you forgot is a way of persisting in forgetting. All things become obvious in the light of a true blessing. We only need to know what we need to know when we need to know it. Is that not beautiful to know!

It would be nice, but who are we to know?

For any human alive to claim that they are in possession of “the truth” is the premier indicator that they have built a reality from someone else’s reality. All this article does is confirm the beliefs of others who have come before and it is resonating with the everyone else who has bought into the same belief systems.

Everything to humanity is relative (to each experiencer) and nothing is absolute (as in “truth”). And being truth-seekers is far from the purpose of humanity. Many people spend an inordinate amount of time and energy in “trying to figure everything out” rather than surrendering all need to know anything and just “be.” What may exist or how it exists in the non-physical dimensions is simply none of our concern. Full moment-by-moment awareness of all the miracles in the physical dimension in everyone’s experience is perhaps closer to the purpose of humanity.

Yes the mask of the ego operates a distortion - as if there is the real or officially verified truth, apart from all the unreal truths as a fact outside of Self. But you can read anything or receive anything and discern what is resonant with the truth of you as you are in integrity able and willing to accept.

What exactly is it that presumes to be 'human' or lays claim to definitions as to what human can and cannot embrace.
I am not arguing with your definitions but simply inviting you and us all to realize that such definitions as we accept and live out from, determine our experience of perception and action and identity thereby.

The non-physical is not un-present or intangible - it is simply filtered out, discarded, disregarded, in order to focus more exclusively within the human experience - which is never really merely physical, but is a unified blending of the physical within the non-physical. Uncovering this as a recognition of a reintegrating Consciousness is indeed not other than the embrace of the miraculous. For the instant of awareness IS miraculous - proceeding directly from Source and uniting us in Expression.
Everything is Already Given - but to accept it calls for releasing what we thought to have given ourselves alone and apart. What do we give? Our Experience of thought, word and deed, is the going forth and multiplying of the ideas that we choose to accept as our selves, our word, our world.
The purpose of humanity embraces all human purposes - yet redeems or purifies them by such embrace. Even 'wrong' purpose serves - but will not know itself truly thereby.
To be just, is to add nothing and take nothing away from the movement of your true being. Give true witness and receive in like kind regardless the condition or circumstance. Not in order to get something or know something for oneself alone - but as an integral expression of the Universal Will. And why Not!
Waking up to what we ARE choosing  - 'inordinate time and energy in struggle', uncovers what we must actually BE believing, and this embrace owns the choosing so as to be at the point of freedom to release what is no longer felt true.
The way of persisting in delay is to add a sense of 'wrong' to an thought or an action or identification and then be obliged to 'struggle' amidst conflicting self-definitions - as if the wrong has to be overcome or got rid of by the 'right'.
I offer this in happy companionship - to your 'miracle readiness'

Who are you - or we - to NOT know?

Of course what knowing IS may not be 'nice' or fitting to the desire to map and control reality in one's own image or concept - and therefore NOT knowing may be the required condition in which to persist the illusion of such 'command and control' attempts to integrate self within a segregating movement. But to choose, to consciously decide to Be on Purpose must be to act from what we know to be true - in that moment of honest and intimate embrace. If it is filtered by beliefs, it is still the active faith in the ongoing willingness TO know and checking in as you go. Thus a poor choice will soon be replaced by a better one and will have served to illuminate the better one.
Yes - the 'knowing is different from intellectually acquired or stored information' - but just as the term 'I' can be lived from wholly - so can knowing be an extension of a willingness for communication that is in fact already here to be revealed and shared.

That an experience of limitation can be had is evident. That one is ever IN it is questionable. The mechanism or device in consciousness whereby to embody the physical experience contains within itself the liability or propensity for a negative loop of 'trapped identity' in a body - and in a private mind generally presumed to be in your head. The wish to assert private agenda in place of shared Creation can only generate a distorted experience OF Creation in which a Unified Will is hidden by the conflicted 'wills' of a split minded wish.

The world of 'powers' is blindly programmed by a fear that THINKS itself a power over others and suffers that power upon itself.

To 'escape' a battlefield one is not really in, is to pause and accept that all the characters in your dream are part of your script - as you provide a character role to others in their scripting. beneath the level of the character in act is the mind of scriptmaker. Beneath the mind of scriptmaker is the wish to be what you are not -  operating the distortion of your current appreciation of wholeness of being.

The character cannot appreciate excepting as the script dictates - and then only partially and fleetingly as part of a restatement of getting and losing. Owning the fear that makes the script is to face fear and recognize the beliefs that make the script as untrue. This releases them from the scrip and allows a truing up through the spontaneous correction of Unified will - that to the mind in its experience of a world is the operation of active willingness rather than wilful assertion. Willingness is undefended unto one's being. Unconflicted thought word and deed shines of itself into the mind that believes itself legion and extends the invitation and remembrance of a true freedom in place of a falsely framed set of choices designed as the denial OF Freedom. There Is no private individual freedom to be had. The idea of a withheld and uncommunicative mind IS the idea of tyranny.

The freedom to deny freedom is not the freedom to become what you are not. If the choice for Life is in you who ARE Life, then freedom remains your nature and condition HOWSOEVER you choose to use it. By segregating the mind in division of a judgemental rejection of wholeness that you alone shall rule, you have identified with WHAT YOU ARE NOT, and giving it the power that you ARE. All of this is kept hidden as your 'unconscious mind' while you split identify in the illusion of power as your conscious self and your scriptmaking and the assertion of the wish as unconscious self.

The script is a script for awakening all minds because it initiated the perception of fragmentation and disconnection of all minds from One. When fear is swept from the template or script level, your part serves the whole in freedom and appreciation. Being true unto your Self is the releasing of the wish to be coercive upon your Life - no matter how complex or subtly crafted are the mechanisms of 'justification'. Your Being needs no justification to be and share itself perfectly. But we need to be reminded of Who and What Life - including our own expression - truly IS. The thinking of the world will never give this for it was made to hide it.

Where you put your attention seems dictated by circumstances beyond your control and so you seek more control. But that is the mind in reaction. Observe the mind of reaction and rest while it fades. Observe the mind of baiting and deceit and rest while it dissolves. Let the Movement of your true being re-Member and re-Mind you in peace of a wholeness of flow, of extending the gift of Life you are and share.

The Jesus that you make reflects yourself as you choose to be.

If like Jesus you choose to only be as God is Being You - then you will put aside the persona and embrace the whole - which extends through you as your genuine presence and touches others in recognition and embrace of worth.

The moneylenders in the template are not personages to hate. The illustration was not a political act but a profound teaching demonstration of one's own device in consciousness working in secret that interjects itself into the currency of true appreciation and exchange so as to usurp it to a private agenda.

Jesus 'politics' are to give witness to truth. Issues of social organization are a matter of honest willingness for communication - but such communication is denied while the template is 'defiled'. Look therefore within THIS moment of your living to see the self-definitions that are giving rise to your perception and experience - for you are not created BY your experience though you can choose to believe this if you would prefer it to your Creator - Who is with you even now or you would not Be.

The lie and the father of the lie is to be identified WITHIN and put behind you. That there are reflections and symbols of this in the world is to serve your uncovering and owning of your OWN. THIS you CAN repent of immediately ONCE you recognize it.

Who knows not what he does is poor in Spirit - but is no less the inheritor of the Kingdom because one cannot truly disinherit truth. But on can attempt to assert and defend a partiality as if it were whole - at the expense of appreciation of wholeness.

The relevance and resonance to your need is the ears and eyes you have. If you have no need of truth but to use its form to fuel or mask a private agenda, then you will have your experience and be found wanting. There IS no peace in conflict. Be vigilant against the illusion of power. God is not needing praise or belief - but while you withhold your blessing, you will feel deprived. God is the love that needs nothing but to share itself. Creation is an infinitely rich expression of sharing - seen as a wholeness of All in All. The world of perception is a structure of belief - nothing more - but not less. No one lacks faith - but what is it invested in?

The real You is the point, and if Jesus, in any degree or aspect of what that can mean to you, serves the living sharing appreciation of Life's Blessing - then be grateful for the synchronicity and be not embarrassed or inhibited in love's presence as your own - strange as that may seem to a mind conditioned to judgement, coercion, fear and guilt. Conditioning can be recognized and changed by a shift of perspective.

Jesus is the Idea of you embodied, for you to recognize and remember your Father - your Source and Foundation. But only as you are freely willing to accept. God is not coercive upon Creation and THAT is something Jesus embodies as a wayshower - not an idol. Nothing I write here has any authority over the free willing discernment of YOUR heart's choosing. Nothing anyone says or does has such authority - unless your word establishes it so. Why give power and worthship unto idols when you Are the Beloved Son in whom Creation Itself delights? To make idol of Jesus is to deny him in yourself while professing him through a mask darkly.

The Cult of Jesus

I felt to comment on what might be called the cult of Jesus - but which I feel misses the point in a profound way and thus tends to 'get in the way' of what speaks very clearly in its own Light.

If Jesus is righteous - does that make everyone else wrongteous?
If Jesus really taught ethics, why didn't he set up a school?
Seeing One Light in all is not giving equal rights to persons, but equally honouring that light regardless of persons.

Let that which interprets through the lens of separation serve to teach how NOT to interpret, by seeing it for what it is.

'Jesus' is released in Christ Realisation, and so 'Jesus' serves as an instrument or agency of Communication and as a model for you and I to likewise recognise that we have no existence apart from or separate from God.

All Souls are created of an equal love.
Human consciousness in separation terms believes it is split off and self-creating. The reward of such a belief is a temporary sense of (self-defined and separate) existence.

All men are certainly not born equal.
But in truth the Soul IS free to experience of itself as it wills.

The Rights that are of God CANNOT be interfered with.
No matter what, you CAN call for love's presence AS love's willingness.
Covering over truth does not change that it remains true.

Is Jesus Good?
He took issue with such suggestion.

Is 'The Son of God' the exclusive and special identity of Jesus?
One may assert such - but doing so merely excludes the embrace and sharing of such a love.

Is anyone or anything a person or thing in and of itself?

What is meant by God in the title? The God of Man's imagination is a concept in his own image. Mythic and symbolic representation serves the thought system from which it stems... until it is yielded to the Christ of a pure awareness. Then it serves a different purpose.

The nomenclature does not constitute the acceptance or letting into Presence. One does not need particular words or beliefs to yield to the Source of one's being.

I appreciated the interview on BATGAP with Darryl Anka (Bashar) and felt to add this comment to its forum page.

I feel to put in a positive appreciation for the Bashar material - allowing that ANY information only 'lives' as the intuited or uncovered knowing that you already ARE - but hitherto failed to recognize or appreciate.
However if there is a resonance, one opens to what one is currently capable of integrating by acting from it, and as a result even the same information can yield greater directness of recognition.

I had opening experience without overt or cultural supports for it and sort of came in the back door. No matter what one experiences, it isn't your own until you can live it, release it, forget about it, because now it is you and there is nothing to carry around or fear to lose or work to improve upon - though the improving of one's current experience remains a freedom of perspective as long as there is experience reflecting what Bashar calls a created reality.

Life brought me tools and paths of integration in ways I did not expect and obliged me to release my persona preferences so as to not shut down or turn away from the core vibrations of a living reality that had interfered with the dream of a life that ran before. Life still does!

Invisible companioning is a term I coined from A Course in Miracles and it doesn't need to matter what - if any - names are applied to whatever facets of an integrated wholeness of being communicate, guide, support and in a sense live or move through me - its is all Life and it is that which supports the particular expression of life that is my own focus or lifetime experience in its integrative process of remembering and recognizing itself.

The Bashar material is different in form in many respects but also in flavour. At earlier times of my life subtle 'spiritual' pride would likely have dismissed a generally LOUD and strangely intoned and enunsssssiated delivery that itself expresses multiple facets of the persona. Now I feel it no accident - but a specific design that speaks at various levels and in ways that deflect that which doesn't belong.
What belongs is a willingness to be open to the information without a lot of filtering and distorting crap and perhaps insofar as there is a layer of that it is invited into the discussion as content to be observed.

Resonance and relevance to the Living energetic of being is not a judgment involving comparisons and rejections - but a direct recognition or knowing.
This knowing is not ambiguous or indeterminate or conditional - but is a facet of the energetic presence of Life/Existence Itself - but its bread-crumb trail may be scattered across any number of various prompts, events, teachings, visions, insights -all of which embody facets of One relationship through which all relations are restored.

Ok... so I am not getting to my point that way...
As well as being a teaching vehicle or 'permission slip' for awakening/restoration to the One yiu have never stopped being, Bashar's perspective/toolset open all the awakening inspirational teachings that I most deeply value as pure tones in their own vibratory signature to a clearer and more ordinary light.

There is something about the religious/Spiritual cultural inheritance that  so deeply associates Divinity, God, Perfect Innocence, Unconditional Love with something NOT ordinary I as this ordinary moment of expression - regardless of opening to such grace in various moments that clearly were not about special deservability but do contain an inhibition of the impulse to recoil or reject from what fear makes of love - for in love itself is NO rejection.

Bashar extends the appreciation of an unconditionally loving existence without recourse to sentimentality or persuasion, for it is already true to the willingness to welcome and extend the Gift.

Truth often comes in forms I tend to deny because it comes to undo my own self-rejections that have projected a sense of disconnected self in fragments that can never fit because in their true Source they already fit perfectly.

This brings another facet: Bashar relates without pride of persona and extends an equality of communication that exemplifies what he calls 'ego negotiation'. In Bashar's terms the ego in its original function is simply that which serves you to maintain a focus in physical realty experience. a negatively polarized ego is what we associate with the ego of coercive and divisive or segregative and separating intent. Bring the lost sheep home is a phrase that comes to mind - although first contact specialist is also a good term within the symbolism of an era in which we are not just looking at space and stars, but beginning to interact and open communications of a higher/more inclusive order.

I found all sorts of Bashar online in various ways and also bought some directly from Daryl. There is a donate button to honour the source if others for whatever reason choose to share things on.

I don't ever feel to follow or give power to anything external. Be where you are in your own owning of the movement you feel. I actually feel this confers a true honoring and a true gift of presence - without justification or apology. Oh - and forgetting. Yes, there is that. But we are already experts at that so I didn't need to focus there.

Waking up

The active focus of our awareness is beneath - or prior to - the seeming actions and distractions that constitute our experience of being a person in a world.

It is like being focused on a prism thought, by which a split mind plays out a power of choosing between. Any power it seems to have being given to it by your attention and intention - for such is how we accord value and 'choose' is it not?

We can not ever truly or finally choose or accept a choice that isn't there to choose and Rest Complete in fulfilment, and yet while we dally with the promises of choosing - as if there was something in a specialness of self creation that we actually want - then we refuse to let go the patterns of self by which we voluntarily suffer our own attack on our Peace.

To open, even for an instant at a time, to a true perspective upon the nature of our unforgiveness or un-release, is to open a space in which to see not from within a prismed split sense, but clearly and directly, in wholeness.

Such direct experience is not happening TO a you - but is expressing an entirely redeeming restatement of you and your world. Redeeming, because it locates and knows all that it is - within Wholeness, of One Mind, of One Will, as One Body. This may not seem so, because any interpretations of direct experience - made after the fact - will tend to reinstate the framework of the thinking judging defining 'self'. To be able to discern within direct experience will come with a capacity to abide as it.

But as such Light of direct Awareness, That Is recognizably awakening and transforming you, grows your conscious awareness - it is realized to Be your conscious awareness. To be the Presence and the Gift of You.

The substitutions of thinking will fade, fall away or dissatisfy, and with them, the 'self' that seemed once to have completely engaged your attention. Yet You are presently in Expression as the sharing of the gift of the awareness of love - because there is nothing else. And yet such an acceptance of peace of being does not make fanfare in or make special the mind through which the world is yet experienced. But it does yield its experience to a guiltlessness, that is pictured out as action unwithheld, presence unwithdrawn, truth allowed plainly to speak instead of covered over or kept secret.

Taking off the pressure on the brakes, seems like losing control. Taking off the pressure on the accelerator, seems like losing excitement. Losing control seems like losing something that you actually believed you had. But never for a moment have we had anything but an illusion of control via the holding to our Mind's Eye of a wish to be what we are not.

To identify with thought, invites dissonant experience of separate meanings, that can seem to conflict and influence each other in an endless dance of no consequence. But to release identification with thought is to forgive the separating wish, and to be danced from thought based meanings into one Light.

Abide in Me, as I abide in Thee.
And allow the Life,
Already Given,
To Share
What Already Is.

Interjections of old habits
are evidence of
the interjections of old habits.
Make nothing of them,
and even these will be used
as witnesses to Wholeness.

Watch what you place on the altar of your desire.
Pray for the uncovering of the true desire of your heart.
Your willingness and your free attention is miracle ready
Because love is no longer being actively excluded.
Let no thought of your own become the seed of action,
and Thoughts of One shall reveal the whole to you,
as your gifts are remembered and gratefully received.

Do not impose teachings amidst your loving.
A starter motor is not to be kept running.
A Universal Language needs no translation.
When there is no one outside - do not run to the door to tell them so!

This is writing that came from reading the essay at the above link. It simply offers into a thread of conversation.

Fear of life seems to be autonomous or automatic, and expresses itself as a polarised experience in which the world - or external conditions, are felt to be imposed or to impose themselves upon a focal point of awareness that contracts upon itself as an inwardness of thought and withdrawal from full and free relatedness.
The identification of self with the inward thinking mind becomes a foundation from which the mind looks out, and an identification that calls on the power of mind to justify, validate and defend. Yet what is asserted, maintained and defended as self is the very nature of fear of life, but expressed outwardly in attempt to avoid the undoing of the sense of self definition that arises naturally in a true relatedness. For life is not as the mind of definition would have and hold. It is already here and it is awareness, knows feeling, and shares or communicates presence universally or without limit - in edgeless wholeness.
The mind of human has a cultural sense of the prior reality as Soul or Spirit, but in the attempt to use the pathways of remembering as the extension of its own seeming power to become a something in its own right, it trades in a living sense of idea felt in the peace of the heart, for a dry concept - with magical associations in the continued wish for a special sense of self-becoming.

Fear of life is on surface identified with external threat, and strategies are developed to overcome or mitigate or manage the threat so as to regain or attain a sense of order and stability in which to pursue self interest without opposition. In other words there is the desire to win, to prevail, or to triumph, and this will is a demanding and accepting only its own way.

The assertion of self will is the expression of opposition and it meets opposition. This experience will become intolerable and the mind will develop strategies of dissociation in order to manipulate situations that cannot be won outright. In other words, we develop a mask, a persona, a virtual self that itself is a proxy or extension of a sense of self founded in polarised or split identification.

The play of the mind in virtualisation is experienced as real but it is an overlay of imagination upon and within Mind or Life itself. The wish and presumption of independence of self is itself the single most blinding condition to the conscious appreciation of, and participation in - and as - Unified Life.

The currency of support for the separate self sense is definition or judgement, which is always an act of exclusion from Living Presence. Image, symbol, concept and story, have fleshed out a time and space distraction amidst and in place of, the timeless nature of being.

When the desire for the experience of distraction wears thin, the desire to know and love reality as it is awakens or stirs as the truth of you, and the mind is led back to a true understanding and acceptance in which it releases or forgives what it believed it had done and become and accepts in its place the true foundation of all being.

The world ceases to be used as a playground for self experience in which to prevail and becomes the opportunity to remember truth and share the love that moves as the nature of being in a true freedom or spontaneity. That the old habit remains is beside the point because the purpose has changed. It will now become apparent that one but fights oneself and this cannot be engaged with passion or conviction and so the basis on which the mind is working has to be seen so as to release the cycle of an old and unwanted habit.

The nature of the experience of Being has been talked of in terms of love, peace, joy and creative freedom and these can point the way, but the experience-hungry mentality of a sense of self lack cannot see or have anything directly to do with reality excepting that even an imaginary mind is directly is wholly dependant on reality to even seem to be real.

The honesty of not knowing coincides with the release of surface certainties and allows the rising of depth to know itself from its own nature and being - instead of the assertions and demands of form based meaning. To thought this could seem fearful - as if the depth is an otherness that takes one over, but in practice it is the shedding of fear and the allowing of embrace. And in terms of the world and its self, a fresh appreciation extends as a step. The step is not a new definition to use in handling the world, the step is a step in undoing the mind that believes its experience in the world is its true life. For the transcendence of experience is the release of the fearful and glamourous adventure of limitation and suffering for a light and presence of being in which all things are made new - that is to say a timeless revelation that neither comes or goes of which nothing can be said - for the attempt to say is but the activity of a mind in story; a wish, a self defining usurpation of an always already perfect communication.

When we find but our thoughts we have simply not uncovered the willingness to let ourselves in, but the willingness to let our thought be seen as it is rather than as it thinks is the growing of the willingness to accept truth as it is, and be free of suggestions and associations which colour, cloud and confuse, whereby the truth of love is forgot.

When we deny our own Soul communication, it is usually self presented to our awareness as some kind of experience that denies or demands deprivation of us. Because if we were to see it as it is - we could not effect the denial.

This in effect uses others or the world to play a role in justifying a withheldness of self - to itself. The others and the world are not fundamentally involved or concerned with our hidden script - but in our interpersonal relations we soon communicate our demands in subtle ways, (that may never be openly stated), whereby we indicate that we need others to back off  - or indeed to come forward  - with specific kinds of behaviour - to serve our own private needs.

When we are getting wise to this way of hiding from ourself we can ‘see’ it in others - and if it pains us - it is because it speaks directly within us of our own pain - in which and by which we are locked - because we are frozen in our own communication. I am using the term communication here in its true wide sense of relatedness and involvement and participation - and not as a bunch of commentary or assertion or perceptions that seek validation.

We may let Life in - by trusting into a receptive stillness - but if we then do not abide in that and let it guide our be-ing - we switch back into non receptive assertion - and ‘lose it’.

“Losing it” has correlating experience on many levels - all of which are characterized by limitation, disconnection and isolation. In such lack of perspective, all kinds of thoughts and scenarios play out as an adventure in experience that is in turns; exciting, glamourous, threatening and meaningful as a sense of struggle towards a desired outcome. But its premise is false and it is at the expense of peace and  appreciation of an unconflicted love. From such a truly restored and rested perspective we can see presently that it is not our true desire to initiate the activity of intention and thought that result in confusion and conflictedness.

The keynote that is Christ awakening is that there is a shift or recognition from a situation perceived outside me - into a direct intimacy that is me - yet not any sense of me defined and not with any sense of a self amidst an otherness or situation other to me. As long as the situation is seen and engaged as between others - there is strategy at work as to what is revealed and what is withheld. But in the awakened recognition of the heart - there is a Re-membering presently of one’s own inclusion in all that Be ing truly is - and THIS ‘Knows’ Itself perfectly - and so is beheld as a knowing that operates as a seamless guidance and communication. Yet even such a beholding is itself an expression of the Be ing. There is no separate part from which to know or judge anyone or anything - ever.

The mechanism of denial is heartless - because it is the mind acting as if outside the heart. To identify with such mind is to kill or deny or imprison the heart - and experience as if that were in fact so.
To let the Heart Be - and to let it Guide, is far from any emotional need or reaction to hurt - but is simply peace of wholeness. For the seeming heart is the attempt to salvage some love from the fragmented experience of a fearful and heartless identification.

The release of the hurtful is not in enacting scenarios of atonement. The release is in stopping everything and letting the Father in. The Movement that is the discernment of Life - speaks all things truly - because it is without ‘knowledge’. It is innocent of what we take as knowledge.

We may fear that if we let down our defences and be seen as we truly are  - then we will surely be condemned because we are so sure that we ‘know’ we hold unworthy and hateful thoughts. Yet truth is that these are fundamentally retained in consciousness - even unconsciously - by attempt to deny and reject them - from an unjoined sense of self.

The force with which they are denied is the force they seem to have in insinuating or violating your consciousness. There is no ‘devil’ but that hating hatred and fearing fear obscures the mind from seeing truly. As the mind is relaxed - so the drama ceases to drive the show. Attention is freed from its objects and is restored to its Source. It is not something to work out - but an allowing of what truly works to dawn in our awareness.

To desire truth is to desire peace - for peace is the condition in which truth is clearly appreciated. Peace is the abandonment of ‘knowledge’, of search and of the exercise of wilful imagination. In its calm you can simply feel when to wait and when to extend your outstretched hand - and all that is needed is Given you - as it is called forth. This is not a state of attainment - but a freedom from the mind of attaining. The desire for a special self is not love and must be seen simply as it is - from a perspective that is free of its seeming allure - from a rested not-knowing that is in no danger of knowing anything! For It can never leave it Source!

In the release of ‘knowledge’, recognition beholds and ‘falls into’ That Which Lives all things. And that even so, the world of appearances arising is not actually modifying or fragmenting or limiting the un-knowable but untouchable Truth. God-Being All That Is You Are.

Know Thyself

What is the function of Mind?

And therefore of Life?



"Know Thyself".



Extension or projection is the Law of Mind.

This never stops nor can be changed.

To know yourself truly is to be the extension of Mind - which then 'gives' itself to All - through you.

To know yourself partially but falsely is to 'give' the mind of an illusory self and meet it in everything and everyone. As a 'separated whole'.



The game of 'choose between' is the play of the mind in creating a sense of private experience - that in turn creates a sense of a self that seems to exist and act independently. As if Creation - the Extension of Mind - is a realm of things - there for a "you" to pick and choose between - so as to triumph over it.

While this game is being acted out and suffered as real - it brings polarized experience of good - and bad, of loving - and hating, of me - and you, of us - and them.

The Remembrance and Rewakenening of truth is unreasonable Good - because it is Good beyond question and without opposite or comparison. It is acceptance and appreciation in trust of all that is - as it is - with no imposition of interpretation as to what it is.

Far from being nothing - this willingness or receptivity - allows all that Life is - to function as a unified Wholeness - in your conscious experience.

What then of the problematic nature of a polarized existence and the dilemma of the self that seems to suffer it?

It becomes a true gift - by your willingness to listen and accept truth. Not truths that can be mouthed. But an honesty of heart in which the mind is quieted and true direction regained - aligned as Expression of One Will.

As to transcending the laws of physics  - I would say that the ego projects the mind of lawlessness - and that creates an overlay experience of forces in opposition, density of guilt , exploitation of power, subjection to an alien will and a mechanism of death.

One can think of this as a net in which the more one struggles the more entangled one becomes. And with every usurpation of power in self-seeking, comes the subjection to the rules you set by its abuse.

Awakening is the undoing of guilt, of error, of a fanciful self-regard that may have begun as a masqerade but became a death mask - and a trap. A meaninglessness.

"Seek first the True Kingdom of the Heart  - and all things will be added you".

This is simply the reversal of the ego's dictum:

"Seek to add all things to yourself and lose the True Kingdom of the Heart".

The mind that identifies itself in form will interpret experience as forms - but in awakening, we are weaned from a form based perception.

It is not 'things' that are added to us in the Kingdom - but that the Kingdom is the Expression of the indivisible nature of the attributes of God.

Right where you thought yourself to be - BUT - only as you extend what you receive in truth.

If we limit our giving - we give limitation.

What is giving?

It is the acknowledgement of value.

The un-withholding of the mind from its Source and Nature.

The work is your gift to yourself of the surety that you freely choose to value freedom - by willingness to overcome or put aside all desire to value the valueless. But until this becomes clear - is it not enough to live from a willingness to follow the path with a heart?

If we feel we have to do things - know you are free to do them from the heart and for the heart. Do them for your own - guided - reasons - even if it also looks like 'you have to go to work to share the supply of needs met'.

Things are fixed by opposition - or set free by acceptance.

Trust and accept the life that is given - not as your interpretation gives - but as a reconnect through which the next step reveals itself.

Just to share life is to have 'stepped out' of the laws that apply to embodied minds in space and time.

Without this 'step' the wheels are not even touching the road.

To pause - is to suspend judgement. To listen in trust is to allow Creation to be as it is - and be known truly.

Give - only - as you would - in truth - receive.

Reason Awakening

Insanity or unreason noticed - is a goad to awakening.

When I see the treatment of man to man - and of man to beast and of man to his world I see much that is hellish - for this is the out picturing of the Son's attack upon Himself.

This is impossible - as One cannot split or truly hold opposing minds - except in belief born of a wishful imagination.

Self-illusion is not undone by dealing with the effect - but by looking clearly at the cause - and finding it causeless.

All that speaks the death of love is of the suggestion that another power is at work - against love - against life. This can not be.

Yet while we seek and assert to be a power unto ourselves, so shall the attack on truth be held real in the mind that possesses itself in secret and experiences itself threatened, isolated and in terms of opposition.

When we see our frailty and death in others we share it and strengthen it.

When we receive truth from our Brothers, we have looked beyond the suggestions of death.

We cannot look beyond that which we are afraid to see - and so we must be willing to look on hate and fear without judgement - truly - if but for an instant - in which our minds may be healed of the self-damning judgement that seeds a recurring experience of suffering, sickness and death - no matter how passionately is enacted the will to regroup within a fragmented mind.

Awakening itself is the Reason for awakening.

It stirs beneath and before a thought occurs - and undermines the capacity to see reason in a self apart. And so do new thoughts and perspectives rise, step by step, that lead from hell to Hello!

Do you live or do you dream of life?

The seeker of truth is not Awake - or he would not seek.

He is not identifying with life directly - but mythologically. Does he or did he ever really exist in the terms that he presumes to be his self? - No - but belief and identification are really given to the images, definitions and ideas.

Truth is not subject to opinions, theories, philosophical ideas or concepts - that can be woven to clothe insight or to simply express wishful thinking - and taken as if they had potency in themselves. They have only  - but not less than - all power given them by belief and desire.

Holy Spirit uses the contents of your mind to awaken you to that you Are Mind. None of the contents are in themselves truth - though they can be sorted and purified by the Holy Spirit to reflect and serve truth.
As Mind - you are not independent, nor differentiated exclusively. You could say you were in a state of radiant openness that has not collapsed into an identification of form. This does not cease to be so when your attention does become distracted by desire, differentiation and form.

But trying to talk this into realisation is absurd because the talking mind wants to understand everything in its terms. To engage in talking as if we could define and determine truth is to persist in blocking the movement of truth from our own awareness.

The primary desire of the truth moving in us and as us is to "Know Thy Self".

That is why we "do nothing" and let God.

If all that you think you are seems to compel your attention to collapse or withdraw 'self protectively' - you may find that "doing nothing" is the faith and willingness whose practice burns out the identification patterns of a private will.

Spirit is in you as you in Spirit

The Spirit of God - as Indwelling Holy Spirit, walks with everyone - no matter who or what they seem to have become, do or say. But the mind in self-illusion may not recognise the true nature of its Guide and Companion through the events, lessons and meetings that lead it from its locked in self-regard, to the love-light of a direct and pure awareness.

The opening of the mind to light takes individualized forms for individual lifelines, where some paths serve some but would be unhelpful to others. It is not helpful to seek and find error in others and then use that to validate the truth or rightness of one's own path.

It is helpful to extend the truth through willing service or love of Self in all.

Seeing self-illusion opens the mind to truth

In any instant that any mind opens to and accepts truth - the force of identification with self illusion is weakened and the awakening is strengthened. I see this as going on in all ways and always - and through whatever agencies serve maximally. But truth has absolutely nothing to do with any conceptual or symbolic truths that we might associate with it and identify with.

As I recognise and accept that awakening is the most important 'work' or purpose to which I can bring to attention in active desire, I am brought to notice more and more of the ways in which I actively maintain the ego mentality - for apart from such allegiance from me, it has no life of its own. I also find these are 'shared' collusions and I practice not joining in the 'mind that limits' in the moment of awareness.

The form in which that takes does not ultimately matter. It may seem to be doing nothing. It may seem to be challenging accepted modes of behaviour and thought - and thus interpreted fearfully by that which identifies exclusively with form. All I know is that if I do not act in line with the guidance for truth - I lose the awareness and appreciation of communion - period.

This doesn't make me infallible in any way - it simply means I am exercising trust as a disciple of truth - and in willingness to learn. It is for each of us to listen in our heart - where we have a direct relationship with God that no one and nothing can ever substitute for.

The Second Coming is not only coming - it is coming through now. In a sense this is the inherent truth of every miracle and all the work of the Awakening since first the mind seemed to split from itself. But in a specific sense to our times is an urgency of the call to awaken - not merely to ideas and teachings and understandings - but to recognise in truth that we 'split' our mind to serve wishful thinking and then hide in darkness and confusion. This is the act by which we 'live' a seeming separate struggling existence.

The 'life' that the ego-sense dictates - is tragically pathetic - barely a trickle of Life allowed or shared.


Communication and trust are of the same root - for without trust communication is simply a battle of private wills - and without communication, trust remains a potential unmanifest and without tangibility.

When we think we know - we do not stop and listen. We can ride roughshod over the delicate first steps of the desire to know and be known - simply because we interpret through a sacrosanct set of understandings that we blindly presume true.

I have noticed this in myself many times - and see that spiritual blindness is part of the territory to be undone - just as is any other self-concept that substitutes for love's Presence Shared.

All things serve the purpose of awakening - if that is our active desire.
When it is accepted as our only desire, truth's awakening will be the simply obvious.

But the force and habit of identification with the ego is not of a kind that can be recognised and undone without Divine, Awakened, Help. For what seems obvious to the ego perspective is delusional - and for love's Teacher to find any welcome or attention free for awakening is the gift of love's acknowledgement that we give by receiving.

Giving and receiving is the way our true will IS done.
But when we seek to get or give to get - there is no real gift. Where nothing real is shared, unreality can seem to be anything - and shift at anytime. There is no basis for trust within the getting mind.

To open trust we must lay down or weapons and shields in desire for knowing truth.

Just as Raj has said "God is in His Holy Place, and All is Well".

It isn't that we need a perfect teaching to awaken - but simply that Perfection awakens to its own being and nature through willingness and acceptance. This is to say that we only need to listen with Holy Spirit to be awakened in Truth.

To argue with illusion is to not let it go.

The mind in deception is easily able to mouth the words of truth and assume the crown of righteousness it mistakes for Heaven, but only the Spirit can speak with the power that awakens - even out of the mouths of babes.

Ours is to make the decision NOT to decide between illusions - and this laying down of the will and the world of will - makes clear the way that Truth Speaks through and for us - along with all That Is.

I've felt a discrepancy with Julian's famous saying for time is not involved in Eternity. But I have come to accept that that Stirring within is of the awakening - and not the ideas that I may then formulate to 'correct' her. The assertion of the teachings of truth by the mind that knows it not is of a desire to make one's own truth and be pre-validated in doing so!

Listening and abiding with Holy Spirit is a state of guiltlessness - and not a state of opposition to guilt.

Brian's note: Evil is inherent to the world that we experience as a result of a identifying with and employing a mentality in imaginative but wilful opposition to Truth. To transcend or relax out such a mentality is to behold All Things New - and All Things is not the same world in terms of any sense of an external reality but the Revelation that cannot be spoken of in tongues or terms of time bound consciousness.

But in the Universal Grace of such revelation - we may discover ourselves employing imperfect terms to give witness to that there is God - and the Spirit of God is One.

The ego will always misinterpret everything - for that Is its primary function. So rather than feel and open to truth, we use a wishful sense of ourselves, and employ its mind as a surrogate reality in which judgement and attack is justified, separation is our survival, and denial, death (or the assigning of illusion as the status thereof) is the gift we share with the truth of our brother and world.

Why would any or every thing serve the highest good?

Why would any or every thing serve the highest good?

Because such is the desire in your heart.

How might it serve the Good?

From an honesty of not knowing and not therefore demanding only answer set in your terms.

How will you know the truth that shows you you are free of limitation?

Intimately.



The mind in form is always trying to make sense of God Reality in its own terms. Which is experienced as if we are getting a handle on life and are validated by our 'understanding'.

While this attempted self-stance is going on - we have the opportunity to wake to it - and therefore from it. It can be subtle- but it is always the allegiance to image and thought and form in place of Living Love.



Just because we call something 'God', 'Guidance', 'love', 'Christ', 'reality', 'truth' - does not in any way make it so. Prayer is abiding in the heart's intimacy. If this is not yet your safety and your love restored - then forgiveness of yourself is called for immediately.Give only as you would receive.

It is through an act of self exclusion - judgement - whereby love seems to forget its nature and suffers its own division as both 'killed and killer' - and then projects these roles outside itself to mitigate pain.

But thoughts leave not the mind that thinks them. To the ego - this truth seems damnation - yet to the Divine awareness that is your Being's light - it is the realisation of what you are and where you are and that you are.

The Holy Spirit teaches awakening through whatever experiences ignorance sets up - and works with every willingness offered and allowed.

If we are in a mood of resistance - we will generate experience to justify our stance. If we do not value and cultivate our desire and receptivity for truth we densify illusion and at some point realize this is not truly our desire - but costs us all that we truly desire.

Obedience is naturally due to our true desire - freely, willingly and gladly - and not as a sacrificial bargain struck in the dark with some god who saves dark ones to remain safely in the dark.
Being true to truth is the essential basis for trust and sanity.

Exclusion arises from withholding love. You are love.
When the withholding is released by the release of exclusion - love is revealed as the already truth.

Loveless-ness undone

The blight of sin brings,
pervasive lack of light.
All things are turned to hate,
and none so hateful as this self.

Shunning light is but
calling for darkness
to cover the love in which such hurt is felt
with thoughts of any self regard,
to put the hate outside,
that some fragment of a self
can grasp at a moments relief,
amidst inescapable torment.


Truth in stillness,
most intimate,
does not know
such maddening mind
excepting to remind you of this:

What do you desire be true?

For here is the way illusion rose
to fascinate an entranced attention.

And yet here now are the steps retraced,
before a split in mind occurred.

Give way to what is always wholly given,
and let all things be released

There is no other Life than this,
that Lives and Moves and Knows its Being.

Who Awakens?

There are these programs running in the mind of thought that seem to suggest you are  this or that or the other - and suggest that there is a need to be involved in all of that.

The one that 'wakes up' - never really slept, orphaned itself - or went away.
Now where does that leave you?
Are you with me?

It starts as a letting in and being with. It grows.
Comes a time you cease to identify primarily or exclusively with a mind in story - and the light  - of itself - moves.
It was already moving.

To ONLY move with the movement is to release the fantastic notion that you can move against it.
But fantasy seems as real as the desire for it determines.

So its true - you cant just decide differently as if it were your intent and your will that is going to do or be the be-ing.
You cant in a sense - decide anything on such a basis - except to remain in illusion.
To be still, to ask, to listen, to trust - is to discover the movement of life.
This speaks your true will - as the will for all. Life is not a conflict of selves -  but a unified self expression extends from the willingness to behold Life as it truly is.

What this mostly means is: shut up and listen.
really listen - dont analyze or filter or interpret - but be truly with - and receptive of.
Trust the movement of awakened awareness and let it speak your self by sharing it.
In the sharing of the gift - is truth restored to awareness.
For none are excluded.

To the ego self sense - this is a bleak prospect - and will at times feel like deep loss.
Whenever this sense is accepted again - the separation is reenacted.
You get to watch it.
Over and over - and over again.
But only if you stay curious enough to look - when all the symptoms of separateness and loss shout as if they know your name.
Who or what is curious enough to look at such a pass?
You are that curiosity and willingness itself.
Seemingly tied up in thought.
What's that about!?

Struggling with myself? - No!
It's just thinking!

'Love thine Enemy' is a call to awaken - not a more sophisticated means of dealing with conflict.
'I have resistance to that' - Ah! here is a call to be more genuinely curious.

Generally, I have noticed, that when I can simply no longer afford, to give energy and attention, to maintain a sense of myself, as in some way opposed or conflicted or special, then it just falls off, with no method or technique or process involved.

Go in peace and fear not

Recently I heard Raj say that what we need is not courage but peace.
For peace is the absence of anxiety.
So in willingness and acceptance of peace I can take this step.
Though the mind seems to see other steps before and other steps to come, I am only actually living this step.  And though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death I will fear no evil - for the Lord is with me.
Instead of being a magical wish, willingness lets this psalm be established fact.

One of the most 'shouted' and clear guidances I have had is - "Dont think!"
Coming from the heart of hearts it was no kind of imposition upon me - but a clear direction to trust.
Its a bit like a situation high up where looking down makes you start to fall - because it is the movement of the desire to fall that then activates the whole shebang of defence.
So just don't 'go there'.

Go in peace and you will know what to say and when or whether to say it - take no thought for yourself and all will be well.

To do so may sometimes induce an extreme purification - but dwell not on the externals.  Attend the Living!

The guiltlessness we need is from the appreciation of our brother and sister WITHOUT our overlay of role and definition.

Any guilt seen in another is the dissonance remaining unrecognized in your own heart and mind - to which the world can now help you recognise truly as serving your call to wake.


To love your 'enemy' is to discover he is your enemy no more.
There is no holier spot on earth than where an ancient hatred becomes a present love.

The desire to remember God | Peace | Presence of Life

When you do notice or become aware of a greater perspective - such as when you realize you had forgotten to be present with God for a period of the day. Stop - Rejoice!

The light is come - or you would not know you had been asleep.

Your welcome for the light is hardly great if you use the occasion to scold or measure yourself.

To not be taken away be the ego is not a superhuman task - but an expression of calm trust.

Humanly contrived miracles may run on time but the train never leaves the station.

Is it not the simple desire of your heart to live truly?

I am sure it is - and in that desire is your call and answer.

The attempt to do too much is a way of justifying our day - our existence - our spiritual validity.

Yet you need do nothing for God to be all that God is - right where you are.

It is a matter of attention - which follows value - which expresses desire.

Now you may well discover, that actually you are more active than you thought in valuing that which covers over, distracts or takes you away from being in the presence of love. This is good news - Rejoice!

Why? Because now you have become more conscious and more honest about what you use your mind for.

It hardly helps when - upon such a discovery, the scripts of self guilt and self judgement are replayed.

To be consiously with yourself without moral controls firing off with the carrot and stick of fear or favour is to violate the garden fence boundary that you can cross BECAUSE you are willing ti exercise trust, cooperation, listening and willingness to be guided.

Now you may not believe you are trustworthy - because you have seen things about your mind that are mean at best and tricks with it.

But your desire is your welcome for One who knows you better than you do - and who also knows how to guide you.

The mind tries to whip the heart into line - using any and every tactic. Yet the heart gives freely all that you desire - but - it gives it to you to share - and not to your mind that would keep for itself.

With desire for God in your heart - what is there but God?

You have to get dressed quick to catch the train. Practice doing this in your peace - without calling on anxiety to spur you. God is moving to catch the train.

You have to take an optimum course through various obstacles. let go of trying to work out the path and let God align all things - and be fully present in every step.

God is dancing through the seeming Obstacles(also God).

You got caught up in difficulty and reaction and are out of sorts - and still have to deal with difficult demands. Surrender now! Forgive yourself unconditionally (This means everyone) and bring willingness to stop in an instant - even if the instant is short. - And deeply and fully remember your desire for truth.

It doesn't matter if it all seems grossly messy and you don't feel at all like you handled it at all well - what matters is that you remembered to stop, drop and listen - and then brought trust into play.

The surface mind is loud and seems to run the show - it certainly seems curiously able to get and keep your attention!

But you are moving by your desire to calm and to trust and notice deeper - from a more spacious and less reactive place.

Now it might happen that you have a miraculous day out of a potentially disastrous day - and didn't think of God once.

How so?

Because the thought of God is not just the words and concepts and symbols - but the rootedness of your attention to the real.

Now within this 'world' others may argue about using the term real - but the Spirit knows what is helpful for the needs of all - in terms of awakening and because you have given willingness, God's Agency can answer through you - when ye thinketh not. What is 'answer through you?' - but an expression of Life, love, shared integrity, harmony and peace. In other words the way life naturally works when we are not willfully active in working against it.

To shift from the "External God Power" concept to the all embracing unbounded Source and true Condition of being is a step by step willingness. When God takes the last step there is not a differentiation of God and self excepting as Jesus states it.

We most of us have great fear of God - and of love. Even if we set course we find ourselves thrown back again and again. Such resistance is not a sin - but arises from an ignorance that needs to be dispelled. This is why allowing conscious awareness of the desire that seems to want distraction or delay or to dally in pleasure or whatever doesn't abide and share in the presence of life - allows the Spirit to reveal to your willingness to notice.

Our obstacles are not just things to overcome - they can also be the misread guidances that we need to stop and take in so as to have an upside down map corrected.

Maybe something useful arises in you when you read this. Useful in the sense of a sudden shift of attention from a sense of dilemna to a current relationship.

I like the word current as it means now and also means flow.

I said once that the secret to making love - is

to already be making love.

In other words, the form of it isn't defined by a beginning and an end or by specific forms at all.

Making love is the ongoing dance and flow of relationship.

If you 'go off' on a thought (or ten thousand), then  as soon as you feel the dissonance - use it to waken.

If you do not go off in thought - but share the light of life and love in your tasks, your play or walking together - then don't interrupt the flow with spiritual thoughts - but just check in with your heart's light if any question should arise. Dissonance is undisguisable in love and light.

We have our love relationship with God - Spirit - we share that with our lover, our partner, our family, our community, our workplace our trees and sky and birds and world at large.
It is one love but the forms of the dance differ. The more unified and whole we let ourselves be the more consistent and congruent our life becomes.

For the love of God why would I bitch about X? (I'm bitching about X - dissonance alert - Let truth be revealed to me here that God's sanity and peace can be a basis for whatever is next).

There - that's also a tool - dissonance alert. If it isn't going off you are either too awake for any trouble to attract you - or are so well managed in your sleeping habit that every thing can be taken for grantedly dealt with as if it was just the way the world is and you just manage it successfully.

If you really want to be with God it must follow that you really do not want to be with egocentricity.



What we really do not want - is dissonant to our heart.

On this basis alone - all of the world we know should be called in question.

Awakening to the true nature of the Matrix

In the film the Matrix, Neo is shot and killed - yet suddenly ‘sees’ the true nature of the so called reality in which usury, control, war and death operate as real - and he then expresses both an invulnerability and dominion - from that realisation. Without getting involved in the film - I responded to someone who saw this as a metaphor for Awakening, and who saw many parallels with A Course in Miracles and NTI teachings.

If all we really see are thoughts in our mind that give rise to experiencing thought as an externality that then comes to define us as subject to it - and not as mind aware of and one with its thought.


To explore and discover the nature or merit of such a proposition or enquiry is a matter of free attention and the desire or movement of the heart.

The thing to become aware of is the presumption that is accepted as your starting place.
We humanly identify with self of mind in body – in a world of bodies – and believe the thought that seems to demonstrate that this is fact.

Yet beneath this is desire that sets it up and maintains it.

You can ‘stick your awareness’ out of the flow of habitual intent for a moment and have a different perspective on everything – but if the force that is behind this motive is still self generated, then it is not supported in the Movement of desire – and still constitutes an attempt to fight limitation rather than transcend it.

So my sense is that the truth – and the love of truth – must be welcomed and nurtured to grow in that which, before, I guarded and wielded as - ‘my life’.

The purpose and nature of truth has never been to validate my specialness – nor even to support and maintain my demand to identify with judgement as the determiner of reality.
It has always been the purpose and nature of truth to be self-revealing – to itself – in love – as love. But our notion of love is so distorted and reversed that it may be more helpful to simply let truth be self revealing – and let that discovery be the intimate and direct experience of all that is – in truth.

The freedom to shift attention and location or act from beyond the accepted limits and laws of matterial reality, cannot be the activity of a body – or a mind that believes it is a body - or the mind that believes itself separated from Mind - in contrast and opposition to others.
This is because the locking in of the mind in a fragment of itself – in demand that that this be its special home and protection – and weapon – is the forfeit of the conscious participation in Truth - until its purpose is changed.

My sense is that the way to be restored to our true participation in a Greater Life than the world knows – is the free relinquishment of self will or specialness.
This is generally humiliating experience of disempowerment in terms of the world – yet not a self selected act for that is just another self based ploy to exercise judgement.

So in being ‘simply human’ and embracing the felt ordinary humanity of my day – I am inevitably brought to moments of noticing – that arise from truth and not from self-effort. The choice I then have is one of NOT recycling or repeating the ‘old habit’ of self illusion. In THAT willingness truth is made welcome and I feel such relationship alive as joy – as inspiration – and so forth.

The capacity of the mind to try to jump ahead of its Master (The Awakened Heart), is easily observable. Wisdom is also a willingness to be a beginner – so that the first step is always the kneeling in the heart.  Then the next step is guided – and even if what is guided seems to be difficult or impossible – you are with One who is holding your hand and maintaining your steadiness of intent – despite the old habits of thought.

I am now reminded to say that – to actually practice in such cooperative loving – we have to release the wonderful understandings we had gained and cherish as if they themselves can feed us – and turn in trust to the source of all insight and guidance in willingness and trust. 

This ‘awakening process’ is not a loss of self, but until truth grows as the light of true awareness, the thought based substitute inevitably enacts its drama of self upon and around every instance of awakening. But awakening is merely attention to truth.

Let truth directly replace the assertions of thought that I had wanted to believe instead – because I would be at one and not at war.
And because I would let love Be with me , on terms I do not set – for I will not to be alone.


And yes – to see and be from MIND constitutes awakened being. Whereas to act out from a presumption of being ‘a mind’, is to be filtered and distorted by separated specialness. I associate the release of mind into Mind as ‘holding hands’ in trust and so moving through great fear.
And I am seeing now how great the cost – is the grasping to ourselves of this ‘special love’ - by which truth is rendered impotent and void.

Yet all that is truly lovely is in and of truth and nothing I could truly want could come to me from a presumption of specialness.

It isn't that I must fight the temptation that sees everything in terms of a deceptive ‘self interest’. But that I must become a willingness to stop the mind, listen in trust and move with the Movement that is felt in the heart. (Or I will re-enact the fall/separation/crucifiction and experience it as real).


I’m quite happy to also explore such stories as the Matrix – but how can you represent the Wholeness in terms of a part – without making the part ‘special’?
All attempts to communicate the transpersonal in terms of a world of persons will have both strengths and liabilities. If the liabilities are not indulged - the teachings serve the heart’s awakening. This is because the guidance of the heart is being followed in undoing the liabilities of separated self-will.

The perspective of wholeness has dominion because its parts have not actually any separated power in their own right, and because there is no opposition to any aspect of what is recognised as ‘within’. True Dominion is not at all one of subduing a weaker or indeed dark power. It is Expression of Creator at one with – and completed by Creation.

To bring this Idea more humanly accessible – consider being a chairman or facilitation in a meeting whose members express apparently conflicting goals and intents. Your function is not to take sides – but to serve the whole – as a unified expression of intent and not merely some mechanical vote system. So you put your own thought aside and listen and feel and serve the process of real communication in which no voice is deprived from speaking and no voice is deprived from being heard. Because of the way in which you have served, the group’s willingness to communicate will discover the next step in which it can all freely agree to walk together. The Heart has dominion.

So consider the true cause of the seeming inability of the heart to communicate. It is not really the fear of hurt and rejection – but is the direct symptom of the desire to maintain a private will – with some story that ‘justifies’ the denial of the heart. (a cock crows thrice?)
