The ego aspect wants to be free of limitations in order to do otherwise impossible things.
The love that you are wants to be free of limitation in order to be all that it is - regardless of the doings that that might or might not give rise to.
To abide and hold with all that you are - and to trust and follow the Direction of your own love seems an Impossibility in terms of the world and all of what its teaching and learning has facilitated. And it is this 'doing' that is asked of each of us as the welcome and faith in the Living Word in our Heart.
In the living out of this in our lives, we seem often to pass through drama, messy involvements, fears and struggles against adversity. Yet in all honesty awake one can truly say that God - or Love - did all the work and all I did was to somehow (by grace!) keep the way and the channel open.
To shut down our heart is to crucify ourselves. And our body and world will faithfully reflect our thought and intent in our experience. To keep our heart open is in effect to give it back to its Source.
In the world the Heart is hidden and therefore secret.
In God it is the other way around.
To bring the world back into alignment with God is to forgive and release the desire for a secret self - and let Peace restore a wholly guiltless mind.
The pain of longing is an unrecognised Communion - seen through the frame of its apparent loss. Zeal must be tempered with humility, or we proceed as if we know - based on certainties that would not hold without being forcefully maintained.
The problem is the answer unrecognised. But the problem also 'solves itself' in the world by presenting itself as it is not - (dissociation). To be guided from the decoys and distractions - in honesty - to the truth of the problem - will uncover the truth. And the answer will become obvious once the problem is no longer hidden.
Our sense of separation from Self - from Life - from Love - From God - is more terrible than mere words could ever convey. It is our death ... But look again - with desire to see truly - as the heart bids you in all sanity to allow.
The mind that thinks it can leave or deny the heart is itself but a thought. Pick it up and see all Oneness seem to fragment and collapse upon itself. Be turned to allow love's Movement and see all fragmentation and conflicting identity dissolve.

If even a trace of guilt is given welcome - or assumed real of me - then I (must) look out on a world that limits and see the taint of sin in whatever I write or whatever I read. For such is the effect of using the lens of judgement instead of listening in the heart.
Because this is so paralysing and obstructive of life's creative flow and function, the I-sense exerts itself in any and every attempt to mitigate and offset pain of guilt by glossing over with denial and engaging distraction - so as to play the game of life amidst a condition which seemingly opposes life.
To at least to snatch the crumbs of life in fleeting moments from the awfulness of a mean and hateful mind that the I-sense is seeking to escape, overcome or improve - but not let go.
All the force of such attempt wears 'me out' and blocks even further, the grace of the true function of life of which I have lost any direct sense due to becoming so entangled in my own thoughts made flesh.
(Hmmmmmmmmmm.... that's not what I thought I was going to write ;-)
Words have been used as the extension of definition. As if definition determines truth. But it is the movement of desire or intent that would fix or freeze life - by grasping or possession. The very concept of possession at the level of mind is a nonsense excepting that to have is to be. But once a sense of self in image and thought is accepted as if it were in fact Me - then through that self-thought can I seem to add things to myself or have them taken away.
At that level of illusion - when first embracing what seems to be the possibillities and potentialities of orphanhood (seperate self-becominghood) there is a sense of being as a god in divine play. Dressing up in the mirror and enjoying the imaginative 'life' that extends from the image in this light - or in that light.
How does a narcissistic game of no consequence become the terrible affliction of guilt?
Well it never truly can - excepting - while persisting to look in the mirror and 'enjoy' the imaginative 'life' that extends from the image in this light - or in that light.
These words are offered in attempt to sketch out so that the act can be seen for what it is. Not an act of play within the mirror - but an act of desiring to see and maintain oneself in image and story.
For while such desire is active and unseen, attention is limited to or distorted by the images in the mirror. These definitions that, in one way or another, give witness to the existence of a 'me' as a separately existing personality in a body - rather than as the direct expression of Life's Movement to know Itself through its extension.
There is a turnabout that arises spontaneously from the seeing of self illusion just as it is.
It may experienced as pure Grace. The uncovering of Divinity - of the only Life.
This out of time awakening is not allowed while attention and desire are actively engaged in reaction - as something to possess or rid oneself of.
But it can rise through the willingness to see such a script for what it is - while it is in play - and always undoes it of an environment in which to seem to be.
When Hercules had to clean out the shit from the stables - he opened a way that the divine river flowed through them. At first - if one had stopped to report - one could have said that - worse than shit - was a river of shit. And that is why it is unwise to use externals a progress report. For fear has to be released to the flow and function of life - of a divine flow that Is - otherwise it remains a point of reference from which one says stop! and belives one is the power to limit life.
Allowing the flow is growing a relationship with the truth in you that knows the flow - AND also knows the exact nature of the entanglement by which attention has become trapped within self definition and made real to itself.
Under self direction, I cannot actually know true function - though I may think I do when things go my way. But that is a house of cards. In not using self direction, a deeper knowing guides all. How do I know I am not deluding myself?
This is in some sense irrelevant to the act of awakened willingness - because in the flow - in the trust - in the light of allowing - even the scripts of self delusion become useful to the re-awakening of being to its wholeness - instead of serving as ammunition for the prosecution or damning evidence to the judge.
When resistance is felt - stuck - paralysis - fear - there is still flow. There is always flow, for life is Life.
To let into flow is to be with what is - as it is - and not as it is defined and not from a desire or presumption of a power to define it.
An unjudgemental atmospheric is absolutely essential to knowing and sharing life as Life.
Words and concepts have a long history of squelching the feeling being - because that has been the intent behind them.
Put this behind you - and release the forms associated with it - and let them find new life in a dance that speaks of your freedom to be - all that you are.
The dream of a life calls from without and keeps you focussed on the outer.
The Life that is your Intimate truth Moves from within and calls you awake as being-within-the-Movement.
If you are still holding onto the words - as if there is something that must be understood BEFORE trust is extended and fear released, then I ask you - What can possibly be understood from a mind already made up or fixed on its own thought?
The fixation of the mind on God is not the work of the human will, but is the grace of the desire of love to be all that it is and know all that it is, in all that it is.

Imprisoned Will
Imprisoned will is a sense of being denied; a sense of existence within a context of opposition – in which the will tends to harden in self protection and acts callously in self interest. It makes its own version of love that serves to work ‘inside the imprisoned sense of life’ – but this love demands the conditions of self-will to be sacrosanct – or it turns instantly to betrayal and hate.
A sense of limitation can become an accepted set of parameters in which such a sense of a separate life is played out in whatever seeming scenario that involves, and this can vary over more or less dense or confining circumstance, as long as it allows the sense of a freedom to assert and indulge a personal will; to assert judgement.
The self imprisoned mind works to maintain its fantasies so as to minimise its awareness of the discomfort of limitation – and wants to believe it is in fact an independent will expressing a wish for freedom. Yet what this mentality creates as its own experience of reality is simply the active denial of shared will – and shared being - in preference to creating in its own image. Such is the nature of sin. But until there is awakening, here also is the nature of ignorance.
For we do not know the truth of our own being, while we enact a script that arises from the desire to judge - in which we play out the roles of judge and judged; winner and loser; killer and killed. We lose recognition of reality’s love, light and guidance, in the preference to ‘see’ only what we can get from any perceived situation or relationship. A strategic intent to define life in terms of what we can make of it.
Life then takes on the meaning we choose to give it. We maintain such a will, against the flow of the nature of being, and we suffer the loss of an awareness and appreciation of Soul - of life abundant. We starve ourselves of the joy and peace that is our original nature, and become ever more rigidly identified in a fixity of thought and form until we ‘die’.
For we experience, as if we have stolen our life by imposing our own will, and lose the intimate innocence and eternal creativity of being. The consequence is not somewhere down the line as punishment – but instantly - as the perspective of preferring a partial experience of an aspect of life - rather than be in, and of, and as; flowing wholeness. Seperated experience is got from an imaginitive overlay, set in a largely unconscious opposition to the current movement in the heart.
A change of mind is a simple re-evaluation arising from a fresh perspective, yet to the mind that calls on, uses and accepts guilt, there can be no fresh perspective. It believes it is condemned by the power of judgement - such is its god. And it sees separated entities and things in hollow or lightless aspect and forces relationships upon life that have no felt relatingness. For such a mind there can only be the exploitation and management of a separated or fallen world in which all seems to compete for a fragile and fleeting existence. For that is its experience of self.
Opening to a simple willingness to receive - without precondition - as an expression of trust – for even a moment – can allow a reconnection at the heart that restores the heart's perspective to perception in glimpses of awakening that can be felt as salvatory and miraculous. For such is the experience of love to the mind that wakens from lovelessness.
From valuing and growing in such a shared love, grows a willingness and capacity to look at the mechanism in mind - as it operates – so that the conditions of freedom and imprisonment become clearly shown. So much of what we believed freedom was in fact the means to keep our mind in darkness. So much of what we believed was failure, limitation or conflict becomes the means by which we are restored to true freedom - the freedom to be all that we are – and to accept and express shared will – the present and spontaneous movement of the heart in trust.
To recognise that we but imprison ourselves is a similar step to an addict acknowledging addiction.
From such acceptance can all else be restored - such as our desire discovers, in alignment with the awakened shift that released us from fantasy and moved in us as both the call for love – and its answer.
The result of imprisonment believed, expresses as loss, bitterness and a self diminishment – from which one then acts out in reaction. Yet to use the opportunity of any kind of experience of imprisonment to learn of the true nature of freedom, restores peace, humour and compassion. Such are the flowing treasures of life and such cannot be taken from a mind – without collaboration from 'the inside'. Whatever the world or the other seems to do, look to your own heart’s direction.
When we have done our time, eternity welcomes its own.
But first restores our use and experience of time to serve the way of the heart.
Thus we can recognize what can be shared – and appreciate the experience of sharing – letting all else fall away of itself. There is much opportunity to learn and share of life eternal – here within the limitation to a world and self-sense of limitation. Not least of which – is that 'I do not want to indulge the experience of limitation as it costs me the appreciation of living truth'.
And that the Unlimited nature of being is not attained or won or gotten - but is the Birthright of Creation

This world is the 'other' side.
A veiled distorted reflection
of Eternal Truth.
All that is Truly Alive
never is born to die.
Your beloveds are your
Christ remembrance
within your dream.
If you would stay dead
hide the Is beneath the was.
And cast a shadow on the will be.
If you would wake Life
let all bring you to Only Is.
See beyond the person
One mind in all.
All in one mind.
God is an idea
for the Mind,
before and beyond all Idea.
Yet Whose Thought is the Substance
of all Expression.
In this idea all is
obviously
as it is.
One
Other is the idea
of 'as if'.
In this idea
all seems to be as it is not.
Difference and opposition
of is and is not,
define conflicting levels of experience
chaos calls forth partition.
The person is the private sense,
filtering the Infinite Individuality
of unlimited Mind.
A love of loss and of power to limit
protects the mind as person from
Enlightenment to its Truth.
While the dreamer lives out his thought in time,
A nothing seems to replace Eternal Is.
While perfectly awake in Eternity,
Is is.
A shift in attention to pure awareness reveals the timeless.
A refocusing upon partiality obscures.
The Good, the Beautiful and the True reflect the Light of Truth,
and so are eternal at their Source.
Praise God in all things.
Grace is the Vision
Accept God in all blessings.
Grace is the recognition

When Nelson Mandela was imprisoned there were many who wore a badge - 'Free Nelson Mandela'. Every time I saw this I would feel the movement in my heart that said "You are free Nelson Mandela". For love waits on welcome and not on time – and I joined with the welcome of his heart by extending a welcome to him.
The result of imprisonment believed can express as loss, bitterness or a self diminishment – from which one then acts out in reaction. Yet to use the opportunity of any kind of experience of imprisonment to learn of the true nature of freedom restores peace, humour and compassion.

From this acceptance can all else be restored - such as our desire discovers in alignment with the awakened shift that released us from fantasy and moved in us as both the call for love – and the answer.
When Nelson Mandela was imprisoned there were many who wore a badge - 'Free Nelson Mandela'. Every time I saw this I would feel the movement in my heart that said "You are free Nelson Mandela". For love waits on welcome and not on time – and I joined with the welcome of his heart by extending a welcome to him.
The result of imprisonment believed can express as loss, bitterness or a self diminishment – from which one then acts out in reaction. Yet to use the opportunity of any kind of experience of imprisonment to learn of the true nature of freedom restores peace, humour and compassion.
Such are the flowing treasures of life and such cannot be taken from a mind – without collaboration from 'the inside'.
Yet such treasures do they serve any purpose to a will determined to remain private, withheld from 'sharing' in justification of its own judgement.
When we have done our time, eternity welcomes its own.
But first restores our use and experience of time to serve the way of the heart.
Thus we can recognize what can be shared – and appreciate the experience of sharing – letting all else fall away of itself. There is much opportunity to learn and share of life eternal – here within the limitation to a world and self-sense of limitation. Not least of which – is that 'I do not want to indulge the experience of limitation as it costs me the appreciation of living truth'.

The mind can linger
The heart’s notice is a natural touch – and can see the form – yet sees through the form.
In recognising it’s own light as one in all is a rapture.
From the heart’s noticing and dwelling in such reflected glory can the mind grasp as if it is independent and can possess.
By such unrecognized habit of association - the mind can easily linger past its ‘sell by date’ of love’s recognition; a joy; an insight - or whatever is the nature of communion expressed.
In identifying with the grasping through attention of desire, the mind suggests or insinuates a sense of lack. And while it is maintained - is identification held within limitation.
God is Always now – but we can be still holding the forms or traces or echoes of ‘was’ - as if it were a handle on truth; a map of or gift from the IS to validate our attention in applied will – and give it priority. and so we forget the Source and Condition of Life by mind play.
Yet the mind can only linger in the thought-form – as symbol – an image of life that might seem wondrous – but depletes as it is exploited and becomes the hollow witness to the mind of guilt – where we can have a sense of having cut ourselves off - or of being cut off from Light of Being: Love’s Innocence.
All of my thoughts are such bits of ‘past’ - they are all empty of the Living One.
Yet in opening my mind to Holy Spirit in love of truth that is Life – my thoughts can be used for the purpose of awakening, healing and joining in a mind that has forgot.
When mind is allowed to be leader – 'I' am always ‘going somewhere’ – ‘becoming something’ – ‘orientated toward a moment that is not actually here’ – even if it seems just past or just about to occur.
When the heart leads – it is the wholeness of the flow working through whatever serves its Movement – and I am always in a sense of living joy or connectedness that just Is. It’s language is everything – and will use our lives as well as our thoughts for the truth of the wellbeing of all – as we allow the channel to be opened and become our very life - in place of grasping for possession.
‘Abide in me as I abide in you’ is the disposition of peace. Extending the open hand of welcome; to hold all in willingness of welcome in my heart and accept the welcome of every heart in any degree or instance of discernment.
